Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Jimmy Garoppolo got $27.5 million per year from the 49ers. That's the market rate right now. Nobody wants to be the team without a legitimate QB like the Jets.

That link is from MSN Sports. Will have to see if it pans out. If it does it's good for us as Denver & Jets could still be in play for Trade

Actually if this happened it's a good move by the Vikes plus they saved a few mil at 27 mil per year.

Now the next guy is Keenum and then we'll see what teams still need a QB. Maybe a trade for Foles follows but still there should be a minimum of 3 teams possibly interested in a trade. Mia., Ariz., and Buf. Never mind Den and the Jets.

26-30-1 0-1 playoff record. Guy doesn't rate to wash the jock straps of Montana, Elway, Aikman, 3 QBs with a combined 9 SB titles & probably never made $27 mil combined in their careers & this loser wants that per yr? NFL's become a complete joke!

The short answer is that every offseason the best player at his position in free agency becomes one of the highest overall at his position these days..

That is why we had to overpay so much for vernon.

Losing overall record and lost only playoff game he played. What makes him such a hot commodity,?

Lack of quality QBs in the NFL. Out of 32 NFL QBs, maybe lass than 12 are really SB type QBs, the rest are your typical 5-6-7-8-9- win QBs

wow. if true thats pretty interesting. means the vikes are going all out for 2018. after next yr i believe they have a good amount of players that will be FA. no way they keep them all.

i thought AZ would be a better spot with Fitzgerald and Johnson plus warm weather.

good for us too as we can get Denver and Jets, possibly Clevland too, to trade up with us and get some picks.

Cap goes up, salaries go up. You just need to keep an eye to what % of the cap the QBs are getting and that is still more or less the same.

Not to add in 16 he need to beat the Giants to reserve a playoff berth and dropped a turd
