The Patriots made a decision not to bring Solder back. Period. By your own words, "if the Patriots don't want him, neither do I" you submit that you don't want Solder either.

Or you could just revise your statement to read, "The Patriots don't want a guy I never heard of, so I assume he's not that good. Therefore I do not want him."
      Completely untrue.

        Nothing to lose imo
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

        # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
        2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
        3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
        4-New York Giants!!!
        5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

I'm curious. Your handle says you joined in 2003, but there is no history for you since early this year. My history goes back to 2012 here, why doesnt yours?

I think they can put a claim in as soon as hes waived. There may be a 24 waiting period but Im not sure. If he goes unclaimed then he should revert back to the pats and then be placed on ir. When hes on ir he wont count as being on the 90 man roster.

This is surprising. i thought Garcia was one of the few OTs in last years draft that had the ability to be a LT in the NFL. His biggest knock was hi lack of strength but he was a very athletic lineman that had good feet and was one of the best in pass protection. Id totally be down with inviting him to camp.

I didn't see link but this thread was made 1250pm or so yesterday and OP stated he was waived by NE so if there's a 24 hour waiting period that would be over today a little before 1pm. If no waiting period I think we would of heard something by now had the Mets claimed him?

I did. Your twisting of the words was ridiculous.

"Late round 3 is NOT a relatively high pick. And if the Patriots don't want him, neither do I."

I was active here beginning in 2003. Then other Giants specific forums formed that had much better technology. I got involved in those communities for a long time only frequenting this forum sporadically.

Decided to start posting here more actively at the start of the 2017-18 season.

Invite him to camp . See what he can do. If he can play , he should earn a roster spot.
