  • Now that the draft is over, it's time to trade for Joe Thomas

Should have been done last year at this time, we need to be all in for 2017. A 2018 2nd round pick should do the trick.

Can always try to trade back next year in the 1st round to recoup the pick too.

If it was only going to take a 2nd round pick don't you think someone would have already done it?

They don't want to trade him. If he were available some team would have given up the draft pick already. Hell even the Broncos were inquiring about trading for him

With the draft Cleveland had this year, I am sure the next move would to part with their LT for another pick.

          Why would Cleveland do this?

              Ain't happenin. It's Flowers.

              Start praying.
"Sir, I was wondering: did you happen to catch the professional football contest on television last night?"
              "No...I didn't."
"Oh it was most exhilarating: the Giants of NY took on the Packers of Green Bay and in the end the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big H. It was a most ripping victory."

He's not for sale. He'd have been gone by now if he was. They already ripped the team to the studs, they're building back up.

If it was a smart football decision to trade a high draft pick for Thomas teams would have been lining up to hand one to the Browns. Clearly, no team thinks trading a high draft pick for Thomas is a good idea, which is why he's still in Cleveland.
One of these teams is not like the others

Exactly, management would be willing to trade away a solid LT, a fan favorite, career Brown near the end of his career? They also just stocked up pretty well in the draft. Cleveland may have made some bonehead personnel moves in the past; but this isn't going to happen.

This type of Thread with this type of Title has been created over, and over, and over and over upteen times over past 2-3 years. The Browns would of unloaded him somewhere by now if they wanted to Trade him or the asking price is way to high. Its not going to happen. EVER. So lets just move on and maybe sign one of the FAs that are still out there and maybe pick up one or two of the late Cuts that might be better then some of our backups.
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                        # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                        2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                        3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                        4-New York Giants!!!
                        5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!
