The Superbowl when the Giants lost to the Ravens. I wanted to be near where Peyton was calling the plays and scream out instructions.

This is probably random, but I would go back to the wild card game against the Falcons.
I don't think anybody including myself knew how dominant we were going to be in that game, and in the playoffs leading to the Super Bowl.
Met Life was just rockin' and we played so well and set the tone for the rest of the playoffs. Loved that game. Probably my favorite playoff game minus the Super Bowls of course.
        Mood: WOOF!

1932 world series game 3, really would like to know if Ruth really pointed and called that home run.

              1) Ali vs. Frazier 1(the 1st fight in MSG)
              2) Miracle on Ice: 1980 US Olympic Hockey team upseting the Russians
              3) Don Larsen's Perfect Game in the World Series
              4) 1958 NFL Championship Game
              5) Wilt Chamberlain's 100 point game

In that order.....A distant 6th moment would have been see the game were Josh Gibson almost-by a matter of inches-hit the ball out of the Old Yankee Stadium

I would travel back to the 1963 NFL Championship game at Wrigley Field in Chicago

I would make sure a message got to either Phil King or Joe Morrison to be sure they block Larry Morris all day

if Larry Morris doesn't injure Tittles knee late in the 1st quarter the NY Football Giants are the 1963 NFL Champions

that game still sticks in my craw

the Giants were without a doubt the better team that afternoon

I feel I need to start this out by sharing my belief that baseball in not actually a sport*

I would pick Jackie Robinson's first game in the major leagues.

There's history, and then there's history. To be in that crowd, to hear, see and feel the good and the bad would just be amazing.

*Baseball does not pass the lawn chair test. Before any play started, if you had all players sit down in lawn chairs, and during the course of the play, most could remain seated in the lawn chairs and the play not be effected, then it is not a sport. You can sub in grilling a hotdog if you would like.
Every single day I log onto this message board thinking i've seen it all, every single day I am wrong...NYGiants2120

Our Superbowl victories (I was at XXV)... the Mets, game 6 in '86... any Ali-Frazier fight... US beats Russia in '80...
There are many worthy choices, and all are events where you got a lot of bang for your buck.
But, how about an event that took only 2 minutes and 24 seconds? Would that be worth the price of admission?
                        No, not Foreman-Frazier.
This shortest, most incredible event has to be included...
Secretariat runs the most perfect horse race ever... winning the Belmont stakes by 32 lengths in 1973.
I saw it, and it was hard to bellieve. No horse will ever beat that time for 1.5 miles..

                          Reggie Jackson...1977 WS...
                          3 pitches
                          3 different pitchers
                          3 homeruns
                          game 7

if it was never done that would an impossible feat to accomplish if it was scripted......

Great moment. But it was game 6 not game 7.

I would choose to go back to the height of the Mayan civilization to see an ancient ball court game, the losers get killed...thats some motivation. It was llike a soccer/handball full contact basketball. Intense!
