Excerpt: "Former Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum says that if he had to do it all over again, he wouldn’t have signed quarterback Mark Sanchez to a long-term contract extension last year.

Tannenbaum said on NFL Network’s NFL AMthat if he had known what kind of 2012 season Sanchez would have, he wouldn’t have pulled the trigger on the extension.
“I don’t think I would have signed a quarterback to an extension knowing that he’d have 26 turnovers,” Tannenbaum said.
