  • Asomugha released by Philly

Right after JR brings back toast Ross!! Would have liked to have Asomugha here.

After being torched repeatedly in Philly ... why?

Not like he was going to play for Ross's money.
I don't always root for the Cowboys but when I do I wear my pink Jessica Simpson edition Romo jersey. (yes I lost a bet)

Well he hasn't been good for a couple of years now and there is now way they could afford him.

The guy is flat out better than Ross. Not sure what the cost is though. Lets see what he gets. Ross stinks!

Think with a change of scenery Asomugha would have been better than Ross, but then again, Ross is the devil we know as compared to the one we don't.

I agree about Ross ... I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the 53 man roster.

              Ding ding ding!

I don't mind the Ross signing because it was so damn near vet min. I wouldn't even mind keeping Webster around for even 1-1.5 million (which is above vet min), just not the 7M he's making now...

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.

I thought Webster took a pay cut and is only making about 4 million right now?

He's gonna make the roster, unless they draft a CB in the 1st or 2nd round AND T2 has a lights out pre-season. Both of which are unlikely. He is battle tested and will at least play well enough for the team to succeed. He can also return punts.

I could have sworn I saw a vet min number, but the only thing I could dig up is that the signing is contingent on physical...

We'll see. The Giants have set themselves up for a heck of a draft and it *is* CB deep.
