  • Asomugha signs with the Niners

Deal is one year, worth up to 3 million. I'd bet that he returns to form under Fangio's scheme.

Nah... Harbaugh's 49ers have not won a single Superbowl. Losing the NFC Championship game followed by losing the Superbowl has got to be burning him inside.

But you can't overlook the determination and focus though.

How the heck can that team keep signing all these FAs? I think Harbaugh will have stroke this year. Can't stand niner fans by the way.

Kaepernick gets paid nothing . . . much easier to sign FA's when you don't have a franchise QB who has gotten paid.

Until Harbaugh realizes the players win Super Bowls and it's not all about him they might have a shot. As far as Asomugha, he was never any good, got a reputation in Oakland because no one had to throw at him, once he got to Philly and they had a choice between Samuels and Mammy I'm Not So Good he was exposed forever as an average CB.

49ers are a very good team that window is closing though. They have 1 more year before they have to pay the young players. Kaep,Iupati,A Smith,Crabtree will be 35 million in cap space. They really stole him with that DLine he will have it easy

This. After two more seasons, the window will slam shut, FAST. Either Kraepernick will get 15-20 million (compared to the 1 million he gets now), or they let him walk...

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.

Seattle are also lucky to have Russell Wilson under contract for absolutely nothing. They'll be going all-in to get a championship before his rookie contract lapses in 2016.

Who cares. I can see the determined Seahawks taking their division. I mean, c'mon, lose the division by .5 games, and calling a timeout during the playoff game against the Falcons during a missed kick, only to allow them to re-kick and win. That sucks too. As of roster strength, Seahawks have more and are powerful. Will be interesting to see them play against us at home this season.

Who cares? It's the general sports section.

49ers and Seahawks are both great teams that have improved significantly this offseason.
