  • Female General Manager?

    Possibly.

“Dawn will say ‘no’ when Jeff won’t,” a league source with knowledge of the team’s front office told Volin. “She doesn’t really have extemporaneous conversations. And she’s very ‘by the book’ with whatever stance the team has. But she’s done a fantastic job with making sure they’re one of the cap-healthiest teams in the NFL.”
Aponte could be on track to become NFL’s first female G.M.

She kind of looks like my old AP Bio teacher in HS, Mrs. Sagendorf.

That would definitely be cool to see.

If things don't work out with Idzik in NY, I can see the Jets trying to make a headline.

I don't think gender is of any issue here. I don't know how she is as a talent evaluator though. They hired a perceived capologist in Tannenbaum, only to fall into cap issues themselves coupled with some poor drafts.

I'm ALL IN if Kate Mara gets the Giants GM job in the near future.

If only Sanchez didn't decline so steeply. They wouldn't be such an awful team if they had a great QB, one worth the top 5 pick they spent on Sanchez.
