Thats why I said regular season. Him and Bird were lights out last year in ST, and both struggling early this year in ST.

I went to opening day last year only to be extremely disappointed in Tanaka's start

Lol, ok.. I just pray his elbow ligament doesn't snap. It's amazing it hasn't snapped already.

yeah, it seems like we have been waiting for him to have TJ since he got here.

              • Leading off for the Yankees ... Judge?

LAKELAND, Fla. -- Leading off for the Yankees ... No. 99 ... Aaron Judge.

It's about as far-fetched as some of Judge's home runs, but Aaron Boone won't rule out the possibility of the American League Rookie of the Year batting first, at least occasionally. In fact, the Yankees' manager isn't ruling out much of anything in terms of his batting order.

"I wouldn't necessarily say it's likely, but something like that I would consider," Boone said. "I've thought about it." Read more.

                  • Right now, my ideal lineup doesnt include Judge hitting lead off. I understand he has a high OBP, but I just dont like it with his power.

                    1-Gardner LF
                    2-Judge RF
                    3-Bird 1B
                    4-Stanton DH
                    5-Didi SS
                    6-Sanchez C
                    7-Hicks CF
                    8-Andujar/Drury/Torreyes 3B
                    9-Wade/Torres/Torreyes 2B

                    • Billy McKinney hits a grand slam to cap off a six run 8th inning to take the lead against the Mets 7-4.

                      • Billy McKinney is making it easier and easier for me to say Trade Red Thunder for pitching. Kid seems to have found his potential again. To think, we got him and Torres (And Adam Warren) for renting out Chapman for a few months.

                        Hope he learns 1B too.

                        • Aaron Judge says he’s ‘one and done’ at the Home Run Derby.

TAMPA, Fla. — You can call Aaron Judge a one-hit wonder when it comes to the Home Run Derby.

“I think I’m one and done at the Derby,” Judge said during CC Sabathia’s recent R2C2 Players’ Tribune podcast.

When was asked about it again at spring training on Thursday morning, Judge didn’t 100-percent rule out participating in it again but strongly indicated his decision was final.

“I’m Home Run Derby champion, it was a cool experience, I enjoyed it all but I don’t think I really need to go out there and do it again,” Judge said in the Yankees’ clubhouse Thursday. “I won it once.” Red more.

It would be fun to see him in it again, but I agree for a different reason. Potential injury...

Who knows if the Home Run Derby aggravated his shoulder during the 2nd half of last season, to the point where he needed minor surgery after the post season.

I would believe it did, and he didnt want to say it.
