If he succeeds there it will definitely be an indictment on KG's ability to optimize opportunities for players.

Ah, the old "this guy only sucks because we don't know how to use him argument" (see Moss, Sinorice).

If his lack of production is KG's fault, why is there only one team who is even rumored to have any interest in him . . . a team that is in all-out TE desperation mode??

EDIT: The yahoo article dosn't even say that the Pats are interested . . . just suggests that they should be. This means there are a grand total of zero teams interested in Beckum.

Watch Beckum succeed in New England... just watch. Then we'll know if there is an issue somewhere.

I prefaced it with an if. I did not claim that he would do better elsewhere. Nice try though.

Never know sometimes a fresh start does wonders for guys. Look at Bennett. Sat behind Whitten for years and had some injury issues if he did play. Got his chance with the giants and made the most of to allow him to sign a nice FA deal this offseason.
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                      4-New York Giants!!!
                      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

There are other examples of players the giants took off trash heap that were made o be very successful. Stevie Brown, Andre Brown and others. Who's to say a guy we drafted that couldnt get it done here die to injuries or lack of playing time or combo of both cant go to a new venue and make good for himself
