Yep Back up QBs are bringing big bucks. Talk about stepping in it the guy started a total of 7 games and received that contract.
    Good for him.

That’s what happens when you tell a guy he is your franchise QB by trading for him. The agent says “ So he’s your franchise QB? Ok pay him franchise QB money then”

to be fair Jimmy G is legit and will be a good QB

Good on him. He certainly raised their game significantly last year.

They have changed their entire organization in the past two years and he looks like the real deal.

The 49ers may finally be returning to their glory years.

I know the niners although not as many holes as us have many issues to correct but then just resolved one of the biggest ones. This guy will be the start if putting that team back in the map. You saw late last year just by inserting him despite a their other problems how much improved they were winning towards end if yr with him at the helm. Imagine if they fill more holes in off season. Legit contenders possibly
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

            # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
            2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
            3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
            4-New York Giants!!!
            5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

They are in a strange place as a franchise. They had a hell of a team before the Harbaugh blow up. Now that they have committed to a QB they’re gonna start making big investments in the rest of their O. Seattle and Arizona are on the downtrend LA and SF will take over the division again
