In no way do I condone or make any sort of excuse for the horrible act this VT student commited but the more I hear about this kid, the more Ikind of feel bad for the demons this kid most have battled to pull something like this. I guess I should actually be spending more time thinking about all the pain he has put people through.
I agree with you. To be honest with you, HE needs to be analyzed because HE needs to be stopped again in the future...

If people tried to be friends with him, and he didn't want to, then there needs to be a plan B.

You need to keep having plans until he is out of the school or it's safe in everywhich way....

You can't brush this kid off and say it's someone else's problem....

Did you get in the vicinity of Tacoma at all, a wee bit south of Seattle? My wife saw a hip specialist there for hip-replacement surgery and I'm hard pressed to think of a city more foul. It literally stinks, they call it the aroma of tacoma

Olympia is beautiful too, but the further south you get the more rain you will get. True fact, where I used to live got less rain than Jax FL. I'll take a rainy winter over a snowy super cold winter. Also, the sun doesn't set in the summer to 2130-2200ish.

It was one person who committed the act and he was sick in his head.
                            If it was a gang of 20 people...then ok..maybe there might be a backlash...but please...come on!
I think they are just discussing it for the sake of discussing it....pay no atention to it

yeah, I remember I would come home from school and play outside until the sunset, we would play tag, or stickball, or football, run around like crazies....There are two little girls in my neighborhood, and I think it's great that I see them all of the time riding their bikes around. They always stop to play with my dog if we are outside. So many kids now just spend all of their time on the computer or xbox (maybe thats why we all do it so much now?)
