the above is why I don't place celebs any higher than you or me.

for all their fame and fortune, many celebs are some of the wackiest oddballs walking God's green earth...

Ikhd? for real? Sparrow? for a boy? what the flip !

Celebs definitely have their flaws, I think a lot come up with weird names only to further rub it in your face that "they" are different and can do whatever they want. But when the papar***i doesn't leave them alone, they cry and whine about it....

I'm sure the majority of them are very shallow....I wouldn't even be surprised of some of the ones that come off as family oriented but are completely the opposite behind closed doors...

forgive me if I break MB protocol

SCAM ALERT per AT&amp;T

Do Not DIAL AREA CODE 809, 284, AND 876 ....
basically someone will call you, try to lure you into a trap by stating you won a prize, death in the family etc.

They will then try to con you into dialling a number with one of the above area code prefixes but guess what?

WHYIT WORKS:
The 809 area code is located in the DominicanRepublic.
The
charges afterward can become a real nightmare. That's because you did
actually make the call. If you complain, both your local phone
company and your long distance carrier willnot want to get involved
and
will most likely tell you that they are simply providing the billing
for the foreign company. You'll end up dealing with a foreign company
that argues they havedone nothing wrong.

the cost? If you call from the U.S.,you will apparently be charged $2425 per-minute.

just a little FYI

I see no issue with this heads up. I've heard of this before, I still don't know exactly how it works. But either way I've got a funny story to tell..

In 4th grade there was a new kid in school, fresh from the phillipines. He already knew english but it needed work.

Anyways, of course I became friends with him so he didn't feel left out. He told later on when we all got older that in 4th grade he got a prank call from someone saying they were from the phone company.

They said they were doing a test on the phone and needed his help. So he said ok.

They told him to fill up a bowl of water and put the phone in it to make sure it still works.
And so, he did just that...
I remember something similar back in the 90s when cell phones just started to become for everyone.

there was a guy in NY that made over 5 million by getting all the cell numbers in NY and leaving a message to call him back, toll number obv. He kept moving his call center and had many toll numbers pre purchased so he'd be closed up and on a new number by the time they came looking. They got him eventually...greed. I remember because I was thinking about doing it too lol

I was first responder to an accident today, guy turned left into an oncoming car right in front of me. 3 seniors in the car that turned left...couldn't open doors to get to the passengers, then a woman said the driver, who I checked first and he seemed fine, she yells he's having a heart attack so I rushed around to give him CPR ... but as I was yelling at him if he needed assistance I saw he was breathing even though he'd blacked out clenching his chest ... so I didn't have to do anything.

Big impact though

I was keeping track of the guys pulse.

it knocked the cars front right tire clean off. all had airbags except the old lady in the back seat who hada head wound.

I think it's awesome that Banny even thought to stop and render aid.

In Germany that was a requirement by law. in the States most people are leery about "helping" since people could turn around and sue you in court for "breaking a rib" for example.

How does it work up North?
no such luck up here

the first time a case like that came to a Canadian court the judge set a precedent that you cannot be liable for rendering aid. You do need to state you are trained and ask several times if the person needs help though. If you helped when they said no you can get in trouble but if they are out then you just assume they said they need help.

Ya man I was like Superman...I saw it all about to happen so I had my hazards on and was out of the truck as the cars were still rolling - no ****. telling the 2 young guys to sit down on the curb when they were getting out and barking orders at people to call 911 and others to go check on the young guys lol. But that weekend of training paid off imo

Good job man, if I could I buy you a drink.
One of my best friends received a Army Commendation for rendering aid on the autobahn.

That kind of thing is what we should hear about on the News more often.

GY how does court work down there, i always thought the reason for your "silly" lawsuits were due to not having to pay court fees, any truth to that.. we have to pay court fees..and they ain't cheap, the ex (whom is a witch with a capitol B) somehow got the court to charge me with court fees during my raping..or as the courts call it "custody and child support"..</P>

so how does it work??</P>
