I'm so glad we have a real GM. Cowboys fans better pray Romo doesn't get hurt lol.

I don't like seeing players get hurt, but it would be awesome to see Dallas lead by Brandon Weeden.

I actually don't mind the move. Romo's health is still in question after the two back surgeries and Orton will need a back-up that's cap friendly.

As long as this doesn't prevent us from drafting a QB (should a decent one fall to us), then I'm happy that we've got a QB that can take a few snaps if need be that's not hurting the cap whatsoever.

We've mismanaged our salary cap for so long, we're starting to make the right moves. It's just going to take a couple of years.

I take it you've never seen him play before.

Think they just got Melton for their D Line
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                  # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                  2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                  3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                  4-New York Giants!!!
                  5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

How was this guy a first-round pick again? Old enough to retire after having spent only two years in the league.

I've seen him play. He's a $75k cap hit. I repeat, not even 100k. Worth the risk.

Yeah I saw this last night. Apparently a team friendly deal... 1 year contract with multi year option. Haven't seen the details yet though.

I guess the opportunity to play in his home town and be reunited with Rod Marinelli was what he wanted? We'll see.

75k? That's not even vet minimum.

He's being paid something like 550k this year and 600 something next year. But his actual cap hit this year is only 75k for this year.

                            It's all here.

He's going to be their backup.. How is that a bad thing? Getting someone with legit experience to play behind Romo?
