Its not that he didn't bash them...its that he praised them.
Admit nothing. Deny everything. Make counter accusations.

Him speaking highly of Gilbride is nice to hear considering how fans bash him all the time. I think Nicks biggest problem is that he never admits to how hurt he really was. The Giants might have worked with him if he were honest about his issues.

that interview made me sad to see him go. he kept it classy all the way. and to my surprise and alot of other peoples im sure...he named gilby as his favorite coach and even spoke about getting him xmas gifts and stuff..thats really cool. made me realize how little we know about the actual work experience of pro football from the fan perspective. nothin but good things to say about the giants and ny tho. i wish him well...same for tuck, linval and all the other guys that end up not being on the team next year.

yeah just as humble and soft spoken as always, no ax to grind whatsoever...and in his position, he easily could have gone off about a number of things...they tried to get him to dish some dirt but you can tell he wanted no part of it. respect

If anyone expected any different than shame on you.

I love Nicks... will miss him greatly.

If only he could have averaged 98.7 yards a game :-(

Hakeem Nicks has always been a class act. He was a fine NY Giant and a sterling example of an UNC (Chapel Hill) graduate, a true Tar Heel. He is a wonderful young man and will have a fine career over on Indianapolis Colts with Andrew Luck throwing him the ball.

I suspect that Hakeem Nicks will continue to have ties to the tristate area due to the charity work he does with his Helping Hands organization and United Way. So we will probably have some more radio interviews with him in the future to listen to.

                          It truly is.

Go back and look at that Tampa Bay game where he hurt his ankle. He absolutely abused Talib that day and made him look like the worst CB to ever step on the field.

He's never really been the same since he got injured in that game.

Gonna miss him. Will always be one of my favorite giants.

Hope he's great for the colts and gets the pay day he deserves.
