  • Gary smoked that ball but unfortunately right at the SS. Good at bat. Just unlucky. He will start finding holes soon.

Bird just smoked one too and just missed a HR to center.

    The kids will be alright.

Exactly. Well that was a nice bounce back victory for the Yankees. Torreyes and Sabathia get the game balls.

What a picture that was on the back page of Newsday this morning. Judge looks he's saying "that's my boy!".

              • ^ My co-workers were chatting about that HR and height difference, so I made this the scene saver on of our pcs. Don't know if you created it, but just need to change the "opens on" date to yesterday.

                    • HOLY SMOKES

Report: Yankees legend Derek Jeter is in talks to buy the Miami Marlins
He's not the only rumored bidder, but he's probably the most notable one

Former New York Yankees star shortstop Derek Jeter has expressed interest in bidding for the team, according to people with direct knowledge of the matter. He is being represented in talks with Marlins president David Samson by veteran Wall Street executive and former Morgan Stanley (MS) brokerage chief Gregory Fleming, who now runs his own investment banking boutique, the people say.

Wish Hal would sell him the team lol

                      • The media found the new Yankee Baby Bomber to hate on since Arod is gone. Clint Frazier

Did a top Yankees prospect ask to wear Mantle's number? Depends who you ask
Clint Frazier asked the Yankees to wear No. 7, according to the team's radio analyst

“Did you hear the Clint story that Clint Frazier actually asked the Yankees if they ever unretire numbers?” said Waldman as the hosts laughed. “He wanted No. 7.”
Needless to say, the immediate reaction among fans and other members of the media was not favorable for Frazier. “The punk kid who wouldn’t cut his hair went and asked for Mickey Mantle’s number, what a dope.” That sort of stuff. Fair or unfair, Frazier has already become a target, and this added more fuel to the fire.

                        • First xbase hit from Gary was AB 13.
First HR was in AB #29.
                          Hit .213 in that span.
                          That was last year

Gary will be ok guys. Once he finds it again, he will go streaking.

                          • Pineda is trash. He's a skilled guy, but he has no heart.
We will be fine without him.

He needs to go. Awful concentration about anything.

His outing today was garbage. If he keeps this pace, i would love to see a young pitcher taking his place.
                                Of course, it won't happen.
