You hate to say that in June but Alderson swung and missed big this year. He went into the year with a lot of pitchers coming off injuries and he ignored the bullpen, which was a huge miscalculation.
agree! nothing worse than all the ffort thinking you will get in and causing further probblems , or worse yest backing in on a fluke , then looking like *** in prime time! even the last time we got i barely, we were nowhere near the caliber teams we played, despite Murphy, we sucked ***! so this is a bust year!

Nope!! Wheeler tagged for 7 runs in less then two Innings. Made a nice Comeback getting it at one point to 7-4 and then 8-6 but as usual the BP failed late giving up another two runs and that was it.

Same pattern for most part over past 5 + years outside of the WS year. Tons of injuries and win 5-6 in a row causing fans to get excited. Then just as quickly turn around and have s big losing streak. They are nothing but a Sub par at or below .500 team and I been saying that since the first few weeks of the season when everyone was saying relax
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

        # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
        2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
        3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
        4-New York Giants!!!
        5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

        • They better be big sellers at the deadline. There's no longer any reason for guys on their last year to be here past July. Start building for next year and beyond. This season is over.

They are pathetic. And to think just last week before Nat's Series they had actually duped us into thinking they were going to make a run, lol

sure like to know why are bats just keep letting us down, along with our starters? Jeez! they are all professionals, yet when they hit the Mets locker room, all bets are off??WTF!

Outscored 30-8 in the three Games. An average of losing Round 10-3 each game. Heck one of them was 12-0. This team can no longer hit or pitch. And the rare occasion they get a good Pitching performance the BP screws it up.. the team is doomed.. sell sell sell

                        • Most of us believed this was a team primed to make a serious/ deep playoff run coming into the season. At least on paper.

Goes to show that you can't go by how stacked you think your Pitching Staff is and or how good you think your Offense might be bringing back Yonis and having many other bright spots in that lineup. It all went South/Sour right from the start and never got better despite many saying it was early and to be patient.

I just hope we don't get disappointed in the same way about the Giant's. So many of us see them making a SB run on paper. Yet it can easily all go south with this year difficult Schedule if the O Line doesn't improve tremendously. Time will tell but I'm so looking forward to the fall now that the Mets are done

My wife is a Yankees fan and I have not seen her so excited as she is with that young team this year. Maybe I will support her and root for them to kill some time seeing the Mets are unwatchable now.

                              • So they rack up 20 hits in an 11-4 win over a team actually worse then them losing streak wise. But now they hit their quota for 5 games hit and run wise so expect them to get shut out
