    And yet another change coming...

MLB reportedly wants stickier baseballs to eliminate the need for foreign substances
MLB is working with Rawlings to produce a baseball with natural tact

This will help pitchers control a baseball much better, making it harder on the hitters and lower scoring games.

    I hate you Roger Manfred

Did MLB learn nothing from Hockey? They think reducing offense is going to appeal to more fans? Is this freaking Euro Soccer? Remember that horrible period of time with the NHL, 2 line passes and the infamous "trap defense". The Devils thrived during that period, so there fans should be well aware. Awful, boring Hockey games. Pitcher dominance is already on the rise in baseball due to the reduction of juicing. They really want to go further?
sigpic Verbally I'm untouchable like Eliot Ness.

I don't think that is their intention. They are also trying to move up the bottom of the strikezone to benefit hitters. They want the ball in play more.

Might as well just make it 2 strikes and your are out and 2 outs an inning. And enough about this dumb pitch clock. It wont be good for baseball. You can not rush a pitcher who isnt ready to throw a 99 mph fastball at a batter
          Dont do it

Too late, the game was ruined a long time ago!
These newest proposed rule changes, are simply the moronic powers that be, sticking the fork in baseball once and for all!!

          "I'M ALL FOR IT!"

John McKay, HC of the 1976 winless TB Buccaneers, when asked by a reporter, how McKay felt, about the execution of his offense.
