Well, yeah, if you have a top tier O and top tier D to go with it, most likely you wont be stopped much. That was the Pats last year.

      Beckham: 12th overall pick
      Shepard: 40th overall pick
      Marshall: 1st FA acquisition/priority

Next up: Receiving TE in the draft

Wait, McAdoo drafted Odell in 2014?

          LOL

I'm sure the fact that he was released by the Jets and, therefore, the Giants were able to talk terms with him before they were able to talk to other FAs had nothing to do with it.

When the season ended, the 1st thing McAdoo/Reese felt they needed to address, was add a big WR.

Basically, yeah. McAdoo identified Odell as the prototypical X receiver in a WCO

Oh did they? You spoke to them?

They were able to speak to Marshall before the other FAs due to legal tampering, Marshall did not want to move from NY so a deal got done quickly.

Yes, they did. There was a report that came out saying such.

Doesn't matter, the bottom line is they invested in another WR.

It does matter because you made the claim that when the season ended, signing a big WR like Marshall was Reese/McAdoo's priority.

We all knew they needed another WR especially with Cruz unable to regain his form and then being released. #1 priority not so much.

Im pretty sure your point is null because the Giants always invest in WRs. Most NFL teams do. Plax? Smith? Manningham? Nicks? Cruz? Or was that all Ben too?

Giants are following the same model.

Load up on playmakers around the QB.

                              Told ya so.
