How much would it irk Giants management if the Jags win their div & go on a deep playoff run while the Giants are getting a top 3 draft pick?

Hate to see Fournette hobbled but it looked much worse. Should be fine in a week or 2.

        Leonard is out.

They should still beat the hapless Colts though. I would think, keeping them in 1st place at 4-3.

          14-0 Jags

without starting star RB Leonard Fournette, star wr Allen Robinson and now starting LT Cam Robinson.

          They look good.

Jags look to go 5-3 today vs the Bengals.

Fournette to miss his second straight game, this time because Tom Coughlin said so. "Team infraction". Got to take the good with the bad with Tom.

from 2011 to 2016 they were:
                  5 and 11, 2 and 14, 4 and 12, 3 and 13, 5 and 11, 3 and 13

that is a whole bunch of years and years of very high draft picks. It was inevitable.

                  2012 NFL AFC South 4th 2 14 0

No it wasnt. Those high picks included Blane Gabbert and Blake Borltes, Luke Joekel, and Justin Blackmon. And until this year Donte Fowler looked like a bust.

They hit on Ramsey and Fournette with 1st round picks. That's it.

He is in the perfect role there. I wish he stayed here as that exact role and we fired Reese. His coaching days were over.

Yep. Inevitable. The last two years were home runs. Inevitably, they had to finally hit on some picks in the first round.

What about rounds 2-7 for the last 10 years?

The past couple of years they have been drafting much better 2-7. But that doesn't have anything to do with how bad they were for so long. They missed on a ton of top 10 picks. And it looks like the Giants missed on 2 the past 3 drafts as well which is why we are starting to struggle, that and the 2-7 picks. When you have a top 10 pick you have to hit.

                            Jags now 7-3
                            1st place in AFC South
3rd in AFC behind Pats and Steelers (who they already destroyed)
Superbowl caliber defense struck again yesterday

                            Seriously.

They have a shot to win it all this season despite Bortles at QB and losing their top 10 in the league WR in preseason.

They have zero shot to win it all this year.
