  • Tom Brady has, is and will always be better than Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers is currently my second favorite QB. He's definitely exciting to watch and is the best on the run thrower ever. And although both are proven and perennial stat padders, Brady edges out Rodgers as an overall franchise QB.

I know it's not making a far fetched claim, but there are plenty of fans here and around the country who believe otherwise. Especially currently. I was one of them. Not anymore, Brady is still better.

Both QB face the same defense (ATL). Just by looking at the numbers you would think Rodgers did great. 3 TD 1 INT. If you watched the game, he was far was great. He was lost, confused, taking unnecessary sacks thus killing drives. He couldn't figure it out until Atlanta played some prevent defense and the stat padding Rodgers finally put up some decent numbers. If this was a GB MB, everyone in here would be killing him for his epic failure that game. People on here wouldn't care about his 3 TD. But since most of you didn't watch the game and will just look at his stats, you're going to claim it wasn't his fault. Everyone who watched the game knows, he was the biggest culprit on offense.

Brady on the other hand, looked just as miserable the first half. But what separated him from Rodgers was his ability to bounce back. Rodgers couldn't do it against the same defense.

Edit- Can a mod change the title from "Has" to "was" thanks.

They're both amazing to watch. Rodgers has a physical edge, in his legs and arm. Brady has a team around him that just seems to not be allowed to make mistakes, regardless of injuries or who they acquire.
Basing anything about either of them from one game is kind of ridiculous, though.

Rodgers has a fantastic offense around him as well. Better offensive line and receivers than Brady.

And one game isn't ridiculous as you make it seem. This the NFCCG and SB. Not preseason.

almost 45% or more of his career wins have come vs Miami, Buffalo & the JESTS. Very fortunate to play in a bad division full of crap QBs his entire career.

Rodgers is a great QB and more athletic than Brady, but Brady has cemented himself as the greatest QB of all-time.
One of these teams is not like the others

Probably no where as good as it is within the AFCE. The quality of QBs in the AFC since 2001 has not been great. Brady, Big Ben & Peyton have been in 14 of the past 16 SBs. That means just 2 different AFC QBs have taken their team to the SB in that time span, Gannon in 2002 & Flacco in 2012.

                            Brady-2001-2003-2004, 2007-2011-2014-2016
                            Peyton-2006-2009-2013-2015
                            Big Ben-2005-2008-2010

15 NFC QBs have taken their team to the SB in the same time span with Russel Wilson the only one to take his team to the SB 2X.

Brady has benefited from playing in a conference with less talented QBs. Had he played in the NFC, I highly doubt he would have been as successful nor played in as many SBs.
