  • Peterson signed with the saints..Where does that leave us?

Is this year's running game going be as horrible as the last 5?

Chances of getting one in the draft even viable?

Blount isn't going to the Giants so give up that rumor

I think he kind of meant if it was going to happen it would of already maybe??

I don't think AP was ever really on the Giants radar, at least not before the Draft. I think JR was gambling that some of the bigger names would not sign prior to the Draft and he was in wait and see mode to find out if they get a good one in Draft. If not I think then he was planning in going out and signing a vet
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
      4-New York Giants!!!
      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

I've read that there is actually a decent chance we WILL sign Blount.

It leaves us with Paul Perkins which is great.

It leaves us with one less player on IR.

I don't understand the fascination to sign Blount. At all.
WE ALREADY HAVE A GREAT RUNNING BACK:

It leaves us where we were. Good running backs with some upside hopefully and a poor offensive line. And that's exactly where we'd be if he signed AP or Blount except we'd probably have wasted cap space on a position we don't need to.

Don't know if anyone is "fascinated" with Blount.
Personally I think he's a solid, physical back who could be very useful on early downs, short yardage and the red zone.
I think he could help our team.

Agree, Blount can only help the running game not hurt it.

I didn't think AP would sign here cause he doesn't want to be in a rotation. I still feel a RB should be around our 3rd or 4th priority in the draft. OT,DT,TE, and RB are probably our biggest needs. I seen on ESPN today that a strong inside runner named Conners from Tennessee should be available in the middle of the draft. Just as an example. Lets see what happens.
