  • The End for Tom Brady is Near:

    Cover boy for Madden 2018

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.2e6cf1b71a57

Game over. The curse only leaves WRs alone, although you can say Odell has been effected in some ways, party boats, kicking nets, fights, key drops in playoffs.

Everyone else has been effected one way or another by injuries or careers ruined. Surprised Gronk didnt tell him to stay away, as he didnt believe in curses either.

The Madden Cover didn't affect OBJ at all... 96 catches, 1450 yds, 13 TD's

The other stuff has nothing to do with the madden curse

I don't see the 'Madden Curse' impacting Brady, but I expect to see him show some signs of decline in the next year or two. Brady will be 40 this year and he can't beat Father Time.
One of these teams is not like the others

They do, unfortunately. The leaps people take to confirm it in their heads is truly impressive at times

Historically bad game for Brady in game 1.

First time the Pats were under .500 in the Brady era.

First time Brady finished with an under 50% completion %

              16/36 267 yards 0 TDs

Patriots are currently in last place in the division for the first time in the Brady Era.

              Just saying....

One game isn't enough to tell me that Brady is just about finished. Just my opinion.

First pass of the year missed a wide open TE down the sideline. He still has some zip on the ball though and he's playing in a pathetic division. He might play till he's 50 and keep winning that division because they just suck so bad. It's disgusting how terrible that division has been for so long.

Brady is fine...but the Pats are not. They will win plenty of games but I see 11 wins max.

Pats do have the fortune of playing in the perennial steaming pile of **** that is the AFC East. Pretty good deal there.

How about giving credit to the Chiefs for being a good team? Half the league would have been blown out by the Patriots on Thursday night from the beginning. Long busted coverage TDs can change a game.
