Test

( i wanted to get a unbiased depiction of who will be there at 32 for us in the first round, i tried to create my own 32 team mock on Nfl.com and i found that i was either picking like casserly or trying to find ways to get the players i wanted to drop to where we picked. so i came up with this idea while i was at the gym.)

    Board mock rules.

[*]in drafting order select who you think would be the pick for the team that your selecting for. [*]you cannot pick a player twice once a player is selected he is off the board "duh"[*]the first poster to put the pick up for that team will be the pick that's selected. [*]if you are the first poster to make that pick you cannot submit another pick until two picks of different posters have passed. this is to allow everyone a chance to participate.[*]try not to be bias yourselves, while it might be hard pick who you honestly think would be the best pick at that selection for that team whether it be need or BPA[*]Once we get to pick 32 every poster will get a chance to post a pick for our team and we will tally who the final pick would be.[*]think carefully about the pick if were all thinking the same were not thinking.
we are in a passing era and outside of WR which are going to fly off the shelves in the first 2-3 rounds faster than tickle me elmos

the next best option is TE. copy cat system everyone wants the next graham or gronokowski or patriots two TE set i know the cowboys are going to select an athletic TE as well to make up for the loss of benett.

we might not have the luxury of getting a solid TE outside of the first round.

    IMHO
I was questioned for saying therell be better BPA at 32 than Fleener & then you go and say Dwayne Allen in the 1st? Geez...
lMAO FAIR ENOUGH, BUT I ONLY WENT OFF WHAT WAS LEFT IN THE MOCK, I WAS SIMPLY ASKING YOU WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD BE THERE. I JUST THINK A PICK AT DT/DE AND ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF KEUCHLY WOULD N'Y BE A FUITFULL PICK FOR US IN YEAR ONE. --- sorry for caps lol started then couldn't stop typin.

With the 32nd pick in the NFL Draft the NY giants select - Doug Martin RB - Boise State

my alt pick and you guys might roast me for this. Dwayne Allen, TE - Clemson

IMHO I think we can find good pass rushers in other rounds, we're only looking at DT for contracutal safe purposes ( to get rid of canty's monsterous contract ) and DE for rotational purposes these guys are not going to have immediate impact. unless they flat out destroy the competition at camp.

Martin or Allen would be immediate impacts and to me that what you want out of your first rounder immediate impact.

i think for grooming purposes those are guys in the third round.
wait wait wait. Dwayne Allen, Doug Martin, or any Dline prospect would probably get the same amount of playing time next year. We already signed Bennett to be the starter, and obviously Bradshaw is the starter at RB. A DT like Worthy would get a lot of playing time imo.
I Feel that dwayne allen can step in and beat out bennett for the starting job or at least split snaps. i am not sold on bennett at all it was a good signing yes, one year show and prove deal minimal risk sure, but i don't expect him to come in and be a great improvement at the position. hes a good blocker cool but everything else he's suppose to be great at he hasn't shown and until he shows that alot of people are skeptical about him.

i wouldn't say D.Martin steps in and takes away the starting job but he can and possible will beat out for the 2nd RB position. i'm kind of done waiting on ware and while Da'rel scott looks promising 7th rounder were takign a flyer on him.
plus bradshaws legs are one good wrap up away from being done or season ending.
Sign me up for the Doug Martin train.

As for the 49ers, it wouldn't surprise me if they were considering trading up to around the 15th if DeCastro was still on the board. No one in the NFL knows him better than Harbaugh and he would certainly be a great investment for the run game/ Kapernick's future.
As much as we need a DT,LB,TE,Oline....I think Martin would make the most sense & give the most impact as a rookie.....
BJ is gone & Bradshaw is guaranteed to be hurt throughout the season....
reports today that the 9ers will draft either Stephen Hill or the highest rated guard.
and that's what i thought they were going to go OT/OG didn't they lose their LG or LT, something.

and i'm sure even with the addition of Manningham / moss they are probably still not set at WR.

but i think someone selected hill earlied in our mock so thats why he probably wasn't taken at that spot.

honestly i think the only 1st round OT/OG that will be there at 32 is Glenn and mayock said hes a mid 2nd round guy not worth a first round grade.

i just don't sit well with taking the next best DT/DE at 32 i feel this draft have some guy that can be had in later rounds and we use a rotational system so those guy won't have use year one.

and for LB's no one outside of Keuchley to me is worth taking for our system in the first round.

And with the 32 pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants select Chandler Jones, defensive end, Syracuse. or Jerel Worthy haha. the dline is so stacked in this draft that at 32 youre going to get a guy that in any other year would be a top 15 pick.
Yep, I think it would be Jerel Worthy. Kiwi always has the capability of playing DE. I feel we need DT depth. We do need some more bodies for DE, too.
Do you guys like worthy better than Still?
I do
Yeah, IMO Still is kind of overrated. Worthy has more upside..
That's the way I see it too. Worthy was the consensus number 1 DT coming into 2011 for a reason. He has HUGE upside and I could argue that his first step is more explosive than Still's.

I like Jerel but I love Still. He is a beast, plays with great leverage and he is 6' 5 ", great run stopper, huge first step, great nose getting the RB and QB, , lots of penetration and disruption in the backfield. He is a Giants kind of DT in all sense.
