  • What I heard on radio on way home this afternoon

I honestly hope the Giants draft an OL with thev 1st round pick at #19. I doubt they will be on the board but I would love Cooper or Warmack. I would understand them drafting RT Fluker.

I would really love for them to be able to find a partner to trade down for a late 1stc round pick plus an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick.

What I heard on radio on way home this afternoon:
A Football analyst guest talking with Michael K on 98.7 around 4pm and said he heard that the Giants may consider picking TE Tyler Eifert with the 19th pick or a Safety. He claimed that they have many players with 1 yr contracts and dont usually start rookies. They want players that can be mentored for 1 year and be ready to start next year.

I hope they dont pick a Safety with the 19th pick.

Suppose he's the next Jason Witten?

I don't think that I would hate this pick, depending on who was left on the board at the time . . . .

I think he will be a good football player, and would not freak out if he becomes our pick. As far as safety goes, if it's Vaccaro, I'd be pretty pleased. The kids a baller.

It would definitely be frowned upon in my establish.... So many good TE's in this draft it would be horrible value. Not saying he won't be a great player but the value is pretty bad for the best player 19th overall in the draft. Same for Safety and Vaccaro is good but he;s overrated.

When I stated reading the post it sounded a little kinky but I get the point.

I guess Adrian Robinson went from the JPP of Tight Ends to the Cedric Jones of Tight Ends.

                Guess Reese was wrong.

I could see Eifert if he falls to 19. Not sure he will.

But the giants badly need a redzone guy, Eifert is the best high-point catcher at any position in this draft.

Im running out of players I like in the first.

Had a short list to begin with, now its almost gone.

Explosive pass rusher was top of the list, but Mingo/Jordan/Ansah seem long gone, and Tank failed his physical.

Maybe a DT, but doubt any of the top guys make it.

Then its what, OT? Those guys will go quick.

Leaving what? A CB like Rhodes maybe? I dont think Rhodes is a better CB than Slay or Wreh-Wilson.

19 is too early for Arthur Brown.

I'm in the same predicament. As I mention before my best case scenario is if some top 15 talent slides all the way to 19 th to Reese's lap making the decision simple.

You need more than one TE

We need defense and offensive lineman in any order!
Players come and go on the Free Agency Merry-Go-Round, but the N.Y. Giants will always be here!
