    • Nic Shimonec QB

Expect this name to possibly start appearing in the media now that he has a big time agent>>>> dude had some killer stats and is being overlooked. Maybe because he sat behind patrick mahomes? could be the QB sleeper of the draft.

      good size
      mobile
      accurate
had good production and outstanding stats
      Pro-style offense
he had a stunning accuracy completion ratio for a guy in a pro-style offense
had a better QBR in his career than Sam Darnold did, and better passing efficincy than Darnold, rosen and lamar Jackson as well... >>> passing efficiency stats>>>> http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/f...t/individual/8 they are all very close in passing efficiency...... very comparable in that stat

      what is not to like?

his arm isn't quite as strong as one would like to see but he got it done at the college level so may or may not be an issue at the next level
lacks experience, but we are talking a later round guy or UDFA who could have a high ceiling (likely) so you would view him as developmental with a high ceiling when you draft him. dude like this, if he gains steam could go as high as round 2 or 3 if the stars align for him...Or if not he could go undrafted.... should be interesting if he starts to get press..

wonder if he goes to the combine?
would love to see him get side by side with the other top QBs...i'd bet his draft stock would soar

note that he stated only 2 QBs have bucked the trend 9did not have good QB rating but when on to have multiple pro bowl all pro seasons in the NFL.

mattt hasselback and yep...you guessed it

        Michael Vick.

        bodes well for Lamar Jackson.

        josh allen, not so much.

BAKER MAYFIELD said to be far and away the best QB in the draft class by analytics.

Mason rudolph the second best Qb according to the data.

        Josh Rosen number 3.

trace mcsorely 4th. WHO THE HECK IS TRACE MCsORELY! lol

        Luke falk , next.

        ryan finley.

        riley ferguson.

        Lamar jackson.

Sam darnold i guess was way down on the list, due to this year (bad year drove his data down ) using last years numbers only, last year he would have been around number 2 on the list i think.

josh allen "no way around it, he is a project. if you want to take a 7th round flier, go ahead" lol
luke falk, riley ferguson and nic shmonek are rated pretty highly on that guy's list>>>>>>>>>>

It is a deep QB class...thse guys are not slouches in other draft classes one or more of those guys, they would be rated probably much higher

Recently declared for the NFL Draft, @CeeingTheDraft breaks down why Tremaine Edmunds is every bit of a 1st round talent... at just 19 years old!

If Tremaine Edmunds declares, he is a top 30 player in this class. You donít find 6í5, 250 guys who can move and have the instincts he has at the linebacker position. Rare breed.

Dude is only 19. With maturity, could be special. below article says he is the youngest and most promising prospect in the entire draft!>>>.

hope we somehow get that dude to be a NYG.

Both Auburn and UGA targeted him in their games against Alabama and had success doing so.

                  • Was interested in this thread until you pretty much decided to post about every college football player in the country. Kind of defeats the purpose. The people that had sleepers in the past, usually have a handful and you wait to see if you're right. Good effort though
                    2017 Mock Draft (Pre-combine / FA):

Rd 1: OJ Howard (TE, Alabama)
Rd 2: Tanoh Kpassagnon (DE, Villanova)
Rd 3: Antonio Garcia (OT, Troy)
Rd 4: Kareem Hunt (Toledo, RB)
Rd 5: Davis Webb (QB, Cal)
Rd 6: Ahkello Witherspoon (CB, Colorado)
Rd 7: DJ Jones (DT, Ole Miss)

well make a thread of finalists at some point.... Since you are such a judgemental expert, go ahead and do it yourself. we'll all hold our collective breath! NOT!

                      • A RECORD NUMBER OF UNDERCLASSMEN have declared already for the draft! Apparently, noone wants to stay in school their senior year & risk injury any more. jaylon Smith's injury perhaps is influencing these decisions. who knows? BUT

I've been saying for a long time now, this draft will be LOADED. This is a very good draft to be picking at the top of each round. It is also an extremely good draft to be grabbing UDFAs or getting starters in later rounds. Ton of mid level talent to choose from IMO.

If you think there are only 2 or 3 sleepers in the draft, you haven't been paying attention. Scouting later round talent will be more important this year than ever before. it also means next year's draft could be thin.

                        2 cents

                        • a couple more LBs have not heard of yet>>>>

                          Jeff Holland, OLB, Auburn

Holland's an electric outside rusher capable of tightly bending to the quarterback. He could add some size to become more of an asset against the run, but the Steelers could be intrigued to pair him with Watt for the next decade.

                          Christian Sam, LB, Arizona State

Sam shouldn't be thought of as someone who can totally replace the speed of Shazier, but he's a similar type of "light" linebacker who wins with quickness to the ball. He'll likely be a mid-round selection.
                          Quin Blanding, S, Virginia

Blanding is a former five-star recruit who was a tackling machine at Virginia. He has the speed to be a productive free safety but right now is more effective closer to the line as a hybrid linebacker.
                          https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/...ects-to-watch/

blading has been thought of as a safety or corner, have not heard of him as a LB before...interesting. seems the media is also looking for cover LBs, or big safeties who can convert. Lets call it the roqoun smith effect! lol

flowers is interesting. a RB who converted to QB... appears he may b going back to RB or WR for his bid to make it in the NFL according to the article.

                              You like him at QB?

                              1. Quinton Flowers, Quarterback (South Florida)

Quinton Flowers isn't in the top-five quarterbacks for the 2018 draft and may not crack the top 10, but he's an interesting name to watch moving forward. Flowers is small (6'0", 210 lbs) but quick and aggressive as a passer. It wouldn't be a surprise to see evaluators fall in love with his arm and dual-threat ability.

his height is similar to baker mayfield^^^

intriguing prospect for later rounds i think. he had a few amazing games. showed potential...dual threat guy... not the strongest arm from what i remember when i watched. if he had a stronger arm i think he would be a top rated prospect.
