  • Double Triple Draft Trade Scenario!

    https://empirewritesback.com/2018/02...ves-draft-day/

    The Jets send the No. 6 overall pick, a first-round pick in 2019, a second-round pick in 2018, and a fourth-round pick in 2018.

    THEN

The Bills send the Giants the No. 21 and 22 overall picks, their second-round pick, their fifth-round pick, and a future sixth-round pick in 2019.

seems highly unlikely, but a fantastic theory!

anyone like the double trade down, trade back up idea?

I still think buffalo would have to give more to get down to 6

2- 20 picks wonít be enough for that fat of a drop. Would need to be next years 1 as well

Huge fan of trading down, but I don't know if we got enough. In either trade. I also don't like the idea of Lamar Jackson as our QB. So, I don't like the way this particular scenario played out.
          NFL Draft (Realistic Hope):

          Rd 1
          Garrett Bolles - OT
          David Njoku - TE
          Zach Cunningham - OLB

ok well, what would satisfy you guys then?
he Giants 2018 picks after these two bold moves:

First round: No. 21 and 22

Second round: No. 34 and 37 (from Jets) and No. 53(from Bills)

            Third round: No. 66

Fourth round: No. 98 and 103 (from Jets)

Fifth round: No. 149 (from Bills)

            Sixth round: No. 162

in addition to our 7 picks

that is SIXTEEN draft picks in 2018!

Plus a first in 2019 form the jets and a 6th in 2019 form buffalo.

so NINE draft picks in 2019.

a TOTAL of 25 Draft picks in the next two drafts instead of 14. (without regard to comp picks).

in other words, three drafts instead of two, if i understood that correctly.

Maybe my brain isnít working well today because I canít see how you get 16 picks in 2018. I come up with 10.
                Engage brain before speaking.

If I counted correctly, this would give us 10 picks before trading up for Lamar Jackson. 1-1-2-2-2-3-4-4-5-6.

If we end up trading down I'd prefer it if we stayed in the top 10. We could still draft someone like Nelson, Chubb, Smith, Edmunds, Fitzpatrick, etc., while stacking draft picks in later rounds and 2019. I also see a lot of value with us trading down in later rounds. Not just the 1st.

that is a really good point......... i would also like to see who is there before trading down a second time........ i doubt anyone would be too unhappy with trading down, to land nelson or edmunds, if they were not enamored with the value at 2 overall compared with the grades they had the Qbs at.

                        Here is my trade scenario.

Eli Apple to the Browns for their 2nd round pick. Straight up. We get a cheaper replacement and his cap space.

Better be another future 1st from the Bill to drop down from 6th overall to the early twenties
