I don't understand why with the 49ers trade. Swap , Giants 69th pick for 70th pick. Why even bother.
I would want the 49ers next year 2nd round pick included.
Cleveland, pass on Barkley at NO. 4 ??
Why would the Raiders move down from 10th to 12th for a 4th round pick ??
I love the fact the Giants get Barkley and Nelson.
If, that was to play out i would be very happy.

      1. The 69th to the 70th is just a value formality.

      2. Cleveland has Hyde on a 3 year deal. They have no deep safety or CB depth. With very few top talent safeties in this draft I think theyd take Fitzpatrick over Barkley.

      3. Because they could still get their get their guy and pick up and extra pick while doing it. Not a far drop from 10 to 12.

so the Jets move from 6 tom3 and give up 3 second round picks and the Broncos move from 5 to 2 and give up one second round pick. I guess Elway is a heck of a GM compared to macagnan or Gettleman is a dope.

If Cleveland really goes Allen.. I'm thinking we stay at 2 and take Darnold

They aren't trading OBJ. IF they trade down, they MUST get a 2019 1st round pick as part of the package so as to be prepared with draft capital in 2019 in order to select a QB next year. Anything other than that is foolish IMO.

Trading back & still landing barkley though, appears on paper to be a windfall.

Try another one where they don't trade OBJ and get a 2019 or 2020 first round pick from denver plus denver's 2018 2nd rounder. That is the way to go methinks.

If you want to get cute, you can throw in a second trade from the 5 spot to buffalo..... there also you can require buffalos first rounder in 2019. Then you have three first round picks in 2019 to get your QB, plus a windfall of picks in 2018.

You give up on barkley, nelosn and chubb, but can get a stud still at 12...maybe denzel ward or somebody like that.

              2 cents

I think they will ultimately go Allen. He has franchise changing talent. Hes the kind of kind you feel good banking on figuring it out. and when he does hell be a show to behold.

I dont think we take Darnold. I think hes the perfect trade bait. We would probably net more than what I put but I think its safe to say those two picks are for certain in any potential trade. With how much Elway will want to get Darnold and the number of offers wed be fielding Id guess it be more like the #5, #40, #70, 19 2nd, 19 4th. More picks in this draft and a couple in the next.

Wait, we only get the 40 pick by trading back to 5? No thanks.

Yeah, there has to be more given to the Giants. Especially because thee 2nd overall pick has more value than the 3rd pick. They should be giving us a future 1st round selection. When the Giants swapped with the Chargers for Eli we had to give up a 1st rounder, 3rd rounder, and a 5th rounder. That was from pick #4 to #1.
