Ya, i'm thinking based off only the one week we've seen so far, which isn't a whole lot to go with, that the GIANTS could(hopefully not), be a 10th-12th picking team in this yrs draft... If that were true(hopefully not), then the handful of guys this very early on i'd be thinking alot about(of course could change through season) are

Vontaze Burfict LB Arz St- As much as i love goff, this guy is just a animal!

Alshon Jeffery wr s.carolina- If he were to make it to us, it'd be very hard to not pair him with Hakeem, plus Hakeem seems brittle, and Mario is a FA soon(right?), and we don't have much after that, unless barden comes back soon and shows us what hes made of..

Dre Kirkpatrick CB Bama- Teaming Kirkpatrick with Prince, would be something, and possibly re-sign TT for cheap because of his injury... WOW! Then were talking!

Matt Kalil OT U.S.C- Our Oline looked wretched, and even though we got some nice young players there in Petrus and Brewer, we still could go get a OT early on to really try and solidify the positon and depth...

Jonathan Martin OT Stanford- See Kalil....
First, I don't want to make any pronouncements about the O-line based on one game. They've got the best O-line coach in the business, and I really do think they'll gel into a force to be reckoned with by week 3. Familiarity and trust is the only thing lacking at the moment, and that ain't going to be solved in the draft.

That being said, I do believe JR will take an OL somewhere in the mid rounds (3-5). Some 1st or 2nd round guy guy who fell after the big-name linemen were snapped up early, and then teams moved on to flashier positions like WR or RB.

I'd LOVE to get Jeffery. He and Nicks would be an absolute FORCE together. Could anyone imagine a 3-wide set with some combination of Nicks, Jeffery, Thomas, and Barden? That's also a lot of physicality for the running game as well.

Burfict would bring a mentality to the Giants D that they haven't had since the 80's. However, he's a BIG risk in NYC, and also as cautious as the refs are about hits, a vicious 10yrd sack won't do a damn bit of good if they hand out a 15yrd penalty and 1st down. It wouldn't surprise me if Burfict drops because of his "character" concerns... just look at Prince, and the only knock on him was a "quirky" sense of humor.

If the Giants pick somewhere in the 20's (either through trading down, or pulling it together and making a run), they may very well STILL have a shot at Burfict, and the choice may be between him and Jeff Fuller (who I'm quite high on at the moment... I see a lot of Nicks in him, except he's even bigger).

In fact, since there are some good, maybe even great QB's coming out this year, we could see a situation like this past draft where some great talent gets pushed down in favor of maybe reaching for a QB.

How tough would the choice be between Burfict, Fuller, Mike Martin, and Donta Paige-Moss?
Burfict is gonna go top 10... I would be surprised if he makes it to 10th overall pick, to be totally honest.. Hes a diffrence maker, a Patrick WIllis/Rey Lewis type player, having a full skill set to boot, not lagging in any area... WIth a full season of no trouble, i think he'll be fine by draft time... Burficts Draft stock is on the rise, his play is speaking volumes!

I love Jeff Fuller as well, and would be fine getting Fuller if we picked at the end of RD 1.. The thing is though, that there is a ton of ridiculous WR's, so we might be able to wait untill rd 3 and still pull off a Dwight Jones or a Devier Posey, Nick Toon, Marvin McNutt, Chris Owusu...etc And in Rd 2, u might be able to snag a Mahhumed Sanu, Juron Criner, or Ryan Broyles... Its a amazing draft for WR's, with depth galour..

As far as our Oline, u gotta remember, Kareem Mckenzie is at the end of the line, and outside of Brewer and Beatty, we don't have much there... I would like to see another stout OT brought in, and if a Johnathan Martin or Ryan Kalil are there, then we must think hard about it..

One more guy that excites me is Luke Kuechly.. This dude is also a nice fit for the Giants... I'd be very excited to have him on the team, and i would have no problem if we pick in the 20's, giving Chase Minnifeild a looksy....
Have U seen Burfict play this year? I didnt see the UC Davis game he had 3 sacks but that game to me means next to nothing to mebecause of the competition. He looked lethatgic and slow against Missouri . He over ran and misplayed play after play. Outside of the 1 sack he hurt the team more then he helped them. I admit Missouri isnt the best team to judge LB's because of there offense but still it wasnt good. Im watching the Illinois game now and the same type of thing so far. Hehad 1 nice hit on 3rd downbut besides thatnothing. He took a 15 yard PF penalty after the whistle but they dont show we hit did. He plays like this the rest of the year he wont go in the first round letaloneTop 10. Im very dissapointed in what im seeing.I thought hwe would build off last year and get better helooks worse
man ok state found one heck of a replacement for Kenall Hunter in Joseph Randle Dudes all ready got 2tds and 89yrd on 15carrie in 1st half plus a catch for 9yrds Dudes pretty good almost a clone of kendall hunter and what he did for them

Not much need for Justin Blackmon tonight so far 31-6 4mins in 1st half WOW! Give the big stout WR some time off in this one get em ready for tougher opponets
Yeah Randle doesnt look like a RB though right. He is 6'1" 191 looks more like a WR. I saved the Arizona game im going to go back and cut it up when I start looking at 2013 guys .

People can argue with me but Marcus Lattimore is the best RB in CFB. He is a true workhorse back 37 carries for 246 yards. Guy is an outstanding blocker and a very good receiver on top of it. Some people say Trent Richardson and Richardson is impressive but Richardson has yet to prove he can hold up with the bulk of the carries.
Hes right up there! Hey i think Bernard Pierce of Temple is one of the best and possibly thee best in the country U remember how much i liked James Starks coming out and i never felt he was more then a 5th-7th round pick. I think Pierce will end up being a Late 1st or early 2nd round pick when he comes out and also Ronny Hillman of San DIego St is also up there on my list
Temple is putting out some pretty good players all of a sudden.

Thats a bold statement though especially with the 3 backs in the SEC. Dyer from Auburn is a MJD clone. He looks exactly like him. Now that I think about it the SEC is overflowing with good RB's.

Stills supposdely runs a sub 4.4. Ias wellprefer Stills to Broyles. Here is the Prince tape I made. The guy catching all the balls against him is Stills. It says a lot for a Freshman to be beating a senior cornerback prospect like Amukumara.

Shea Mcclein starting to get love by the draftnik community after that Georgia game.

                      WesBunting Wesley Bunting

#BoiseState fans I do like Billy Winn, but I loved DE/OLB Shea McClellin...couldn't stop watching him! He flashed all/every tape #NFLDRAFT

Finally, the one guy on the Boise State defensive line who definitely isnít getting the kind of love he deserves nationally is DE Shea McClellin. He was the one guy while watching Winn and Crawford who kept flashing on every game I broke down. Heís a solidly built kid at 6-3, 255 pounds, plays with a great motor and has an explosive first step to his game. Add in the fact heís fluid off his pass rush while changing directions and even some pop into contact as a power player. He also has the versatility to line up at a number of spots on an NFL defense, just like he does at Boise State.

In all honestly after studying some tape of him from 2010 and then watching him dominate the Georgia offensive line early this year, in my mind heís one of the top senior pass-rushing prospects in this yearís draft.

Most of the pass rusher tapeive watched has been very underwhelming. His game against Georgia is the best game from any pass rusher this year.

Some decent prospects in the Cinci vs NC State game. No first rounders but possible 2nd rounders in Isaiah Pead Cinci and Audie Cole of NC State. JR Sweezy, George Bryan from NC state and Derek Wolfe and DJ Woods for Cinci are other guys to watch

That guard let Wolfe just go right by him. Pead will probably go in the 3rd but not because of talent more to do with lack ofneed forRB's. If I had to guess Id say that there are at least 3 RB's ahead of him. Richardson, Pierce and Lamichael James maybe Lamar Miller who seems to be gaining a lot of steam.

Man theres Audie Cole again I really like this guy. He isnt a MLB at all he is an OLB. He moves so well for a guy his size. Awesome size,He gets deep in his drops , he gets to the QB , creates turnovers.cant believe this guy isnt more noticed.
