Man, if we lost these 2 last meaningless weeks we would of been #6.

Nice....after the Eagles and Cowboys are eliminated and 4 months have passed and this season is long forgotten, we should really benefit from this draft compared to our competition

Are all the tie-breakers set? I'm not sure how accurate that is

Reminder, head-to-head results have nothing to do with the NFL Draft order. Strength of schedule is the first tie-breaker

Apparently, strength of schedule in the previous season determines tiebreakers in draft order.

                  http://www.nfl.com/standings/tiebreakingprocedures

"If ties exist in any grouping except (2) above, such ties shall be broken by strength-of-schedule. If any ties cannot be broken by strength-of-schedule, the divisional or conference tie-breakers, if applicable, shall be applied. Any ties that still exist shall be broken by a coin flip."

A darkhorse is Eric Ebron TE North Carolina. Kids a flat out stud and if we end up changing OC's, he might look to get a TE more involved in the offense. Ebron would be a darkhorse i think we'd consider if Gilbride is gone. Possibly Jace Amaro if he stays, but i doubt it..

Dennard is possible at 12. Mack probably not. Mosley probably. Barr, I doubt it. Mathews won't be there.

Love Ebron but I think with the injury to Beatty we will go OL in the first round. We also may need an outside receiver as well as a RB. I think TE will be something we look at in FA. Petit grew makes a lot of sense.

That's how I see the players going at this point in the draft process. While this isn't like the 2012 QB class, the talent is much better in this class compared to last year's. We should have a good chance to get a great prospect on either line or perhaps a skill player. Here are some of the potential choices I'd see happening...

                            Khalil Mack, DE/OLB, Buffalo
                            Greg Robinson, OL, Auburn
                            Cameron Erving, OT, Florida State
Marqise Lee, WR, USC (In the event Gilbride stays and JJ is sent to the bench once more)
                            Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota
                            Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State

I was pretty upset that we won those last two games. But honestly, I think we're about picking in the right spot.

We're not as bad as we were when Baas and Snee were gimping and starting. And if nothing else, we've proven that we can hang with and beat mediocre teams.

Long story short: I'd love to pick sooner in the draft, but I think our position fairly states how good we are.
