Manziel will play hero ball like RG3 and be hurt week in and week out. RG3 was actually a much better prospect because of his downfield passing but both are just to tiny to take the punishment outside the pocket. Manziel is not good enough from inside the pocket. He will make some plays be he wont last long you can book it

Although, IMO, JM is a much better pocket passer, and has better awareness than RGIII does.
Awareness wise yes but he doesnt throw the deep ball anywhere close to as good as RG3. He also plays behind 1 of the best college lines ive ever seen in draft prospects.

Joekel,Matthews, Obguechi the other Matthews who plays center are u kidding he has a better line at A&M than the Giants do.

I like Manziel, but he wouldn't last in New York. The kid couldn't stay out of trouble at school in Texas, imagine him in New York with millions of dollars at his disposal? He would constantly be on the back pages of the N.Y. papers and not for good reasons.

                  Then Oakland it is!

LOL! Or Dallas. That way he could stay in Texas and give Jerry more media attention. The Cowboys do seem to be the halfway house for troubled NFL players.

Some draft boards have us picking Anthony Barr, OLB. That would be a good pick IMO. I don't like the idea of drafting a guy in the first round to sit on the bench.
My goal had been to win a championship, work toward the Hall of Fame, have my jersey retired by the team and I`d go in as a lifelong New York Giant, but I`m now resigned to the fact that this won`t happen. -- Michael Strahan, just when you think you're down...

While I like the kid he is not destined for the NYGs

He'll go to the Jaguars to never be heard of again.

In the event we did take a 1st round QB this year (less than a .001% chance), I'd rather have Bortles. More 4th quarter comebacks, more talented passer in the pocket, better arm strength, and a larger frame to take hits at the NFL level.

I wouldnt want him on the team. NY isnt a place a kid like that can handle. It would be throwing away a pick for us. I wouldnt mind AJ McCarron in the 2nd round, though.
