  • Free Agency Shaping Up

As free agency goes by, it seems like we are going to draft a CB or DT in the first. Realistically we always go by the "best player available" rule, but I think that through the signings that we made right now the prospects that have a high chance to be drafted by us are:

    1: Aaron Donald, DT Pitt

    2: Justin Gilbert, CB Oklahoma

3: Mike Evans, WR Texas A&M

    Thoughts?

i would be thrilled with any of those three at 12!!!
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Speaking of FA. It's pretty dead in here. Lol. Figured place would be jumping early on Day 2... There's really nothing happening NFL wide. Very slow start to the second day..

True, the signing of Jon Beason was satisfying though. Looking forward to seeing the details

I agree with the first two, im still not big on Evans, not sure how well hell fit our new offense. Last few years id be all for it but going to a more west coast offense, I think there is better fits later in the draft.

yes and its DEEP on WRs. Seattle just proved last year that you win with DEFENSE. Need a top notch defender to come in an start. Donald and Gilbert fit that mold. Both solid. My personal choice would be Gilbert

I would rather Justin Gilbert of all three as well.
Ebron scares me because if two details:
                1) he has mental lapses and drop easy catches, he has great hands though to make the tough ones.
                2) he doesn't use his body to avoid defenders on getting in his catching radius.

Ebron is very athletic and has the speed, I just wished he used his body to avoid defenders because I thinks that's what makes a great Green Zone TE.
