  • Geno Atkins, Vernon Davis, or Alshon Jeffrey? Who Would You Rather Have On This Team

I think that's a fair way of breaking down the upside of drafting Aaron Donald, Eric Ebron, or Mike Evans.

Geno Atkins and its not really close, with what we have on our team right now. Jeffery would be 2nd and Davis 3rd.

Atkins and Melton show us that undersized DTs are good when they're healthy but that they're also injury prone

Davis. As of now he's had the longer, more productive career. Jeffery and Atkins can, but you never know. If Ebron is there, draft him. I really don't like BPA. What if the BPA for TE isn't until Round 7? Then we still got to find a long term solution at TE. You can argue gem or Diamond in the rough, but I can say the same reason why we should draft a DT later. Stocks are rising and falling right now, so it's hard to say who we need/get. A lot of the DL minded people want a dominant Defense since the Super Bowl, which is a great idea. I just see value in giving Eli this rare breed of a Tight End, who is a once in a decade player. You can even argue for Jace Amaro or ASJ in the second, but their ceiling is no where near Ebron's. I want a Pro Bowl caliber TE, not just a starter.

I mean Donald is a damn good player, future Pro bowler himself. I just want to make things easier for Eli if he had this dynamic weapon, who would make Eli look like an Elite QB once again.

Atkins and Melton are both a good 15lbs heavier at least.
