  • Mock Offseason

    HC: Josh McDaniels

    WR Jordan Matthews

    LG Andrew Norwell

    OT Seantrel Henderson

    DE/OLB Kony Ealy

    OLB Barkevious Mingo

    MLB Gerald Hodges

    CB Dontae Johnson

Norwell will cost a bit. But the rest arent big names and shouldnt command anything crazy.

    Resign

    CB Ross Cockrell

    LB Devon Kennard

    RT Justin Pugh

    RG DJ Fluker

    Everyone else can go.

    Draft:
    1. Saquon Barkley HB
    2. Billy Price C/G
    3. Michael Deiter OT
    4. Lorenzo Carter OLB
    5. Jaleel Scott WR
    6. Jerry Tillery DT
    7. Jamal Peters CB

Iím content at passing on a QB here, let Webb develop more, bolster the trenches on both sides, add some size to the team and add a few more weapons on offense. Then next year if they feel Webb aint it then we can do what Philly did and trade up and get the guy, and hell have the line, the rb and the weapons.

    Eli, Webb

    Barkley, Gallman, Perkins

    Ellison

    Engram, Adams

    Beckham, Matthews, Shepard, Scott

Norwell, Price, Jones, Fluker, Pugh, Flowers, Wheeler, Biz, Deiter

    JPP, Vernon, Okwara, Moss

Kennard, Goodson, Mingo, Ealy, Hodges, Carter

    Harrison, Tomlinson, Tillery

    DRC, Jenkins, Cockrell, Apple, Peters

    Thompson, Adams, Collins

    Wing

Thats the overall makeup of the team in this scenario. Iíd maybe get a cheap backup TE, such as Richard Rodgers or Troy Niklas, can can round out the roster with some cheap one year players. It would be nice to find a diamond in the rough or two in UDFAs. Kelvin Sheppard would be decent LB depth as a cheap resign.

This team is more talented than 3-13, way more, with a better line and better coaching and general management, this team can be a big player in the nfc.

Itíll take time to turn things around and build our cap space back up. Thatís not to say we shouldnít be moving in the right direction with some FA signings, Iím just concerned with all this talk about our cap situation that weíre not going to be able to re-sign guys like Odell.

Iím thinking we sign a reasonably priced LB and an OT in Free Agency, then target the best OL available in rounds 2 & 3 of the draft. Maybe then take the best LB/WR//CB/RB/EDGE with our remaining picks.

All those parts to build a safe, sturdy bus and you're going to have a late-third round pick driving it.

          OK, whatever.

The second pick of the third round is late?

I was thinking the same thing 200 million for that lineup.
The Dallas Cowboys have now gone exactly One Third of their pathetic existence without a Super bowl appearance.

Love what you did . Looks good

You do not have a Kicker, Enough DTs( at least 4) LBs (At least 7) , RBs (At least 4) CBs (at least 6 more like 7) WR ( at least 5 more like 6) or Safeties (at least 4) Where is the money coming for these FAs we have 28 cut Harris adds 3.250 so that leaves 31.250. cut Marshall 5.516 that leaves 37.8 Cut jerry 3.3 that leaves 41

                    6 Million For rookie Contracts
                    6 Million For a Buffer

29 to sign FAs. I don't see how the Giants sign who you stated with this. ( that is if no one restructures) I am not optimistic on that happening.

                    If cheap ( unlikely)

                    Pugh 5 million
                    Fluker 3 million
                    Norwell 3 million
                    Matthews 4 million
                    Cockrell 3 million
                    Johnson 2 Million
                    Hodges 1 million
                    Kennard 2 million
                    Ealy 1 million
                    Henderson 1 million
                    Mingo 2 million

That is 24 and not all the roster is full
