Re: What Would Make The Pro-Bowl, A Fun Game To Watch ?

On a serious note. No there is no serious note. They really need to get rid of it. Its a joke. Really. No one wants to play in it, no one wants to get hurt that does play (can u blame them?) so u get those touch football type tackles.
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

# of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
4-New York Giants!!!
5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

They can't do it like baseball where the winning side gets HomeField advantage for the series cause it's just one game at a neutral site. They have a home team but that rotates every yr a d really doesn't mean a whole lot at SB who is home or away...

Maybe allow the winning side to pick what uniform they want to where.
Nothing. I've accepted a loooong time ago that the best award to get is not a Pro Bowl invitation but First Team AP.

JPP was first team AP last year, that made me excited. JPP was a Pro Bowler last year...cool? That's basically what I'm saying.
Exactly. First and Second team AP All-Pro is all that really matters to me. People rarely get those honors on reputation or popularity. Only thing is that I think a lot of the players have incentives for making the Pro-Bowl. . .perhaps I'm mistaken.

In answer to the question, maybe have all the guys play as "himself" in a game of Madden. . .in Hawaii. Or maybe sharks with laser beams. lol
Well for one thing, get rid of that Vanilla Defense.
Public executions for the loser would probably give them a bit more incentive to actually play an actual NFL quality football game instead of the glorified flag football embarrassment it currently is!
"I'M ALL FOR IT!"

John McKay, HC of the 1976 winless TB Buccaneers, when asked by a reporter, how McKay felt, about the execution of his offense.

I was thinking, just name the pro bowlers (including from the SB teams), and just simulate the whole game on madden... Then you could get those fancy CNN holograms and make the holographic players duke it out...

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.
