Let's see, playoff-quality teams the past few years:
NFC North: GB, MAYBE MIN on a good day
    NFC South: NO, ATL
    NFC West: SF, SEA

    AFC East: NE
    AFC South: IND, HOU
    AFC North: BAL, CIN
    AFC West: DEN

Whereas in the NFC East, any team could make it. Hell, there were 3 teams still competing for division champion in week 16... in both 2011 and 2012. Maybe they don't have one strongest team in the NFL, but put them all together than they're the strongest division. No team gets double gift-wraps like Oakland, Jets, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Arizona, or Detroit provide to their respective divisions, which explains why the division champion often sports a 10-win record.

Calling a division that has Arizona and St. Louis in it the strongest is laughable. They just have two powerful teams in SF and SEA, nothing more... I'm sure that if you shuffled the NFC East rosters together and drew 4 teams out of it, you could create two teams on that same level as SF/SEA and two crap teams...

Of course, by that logic, the NFC North would be rolling with Rodgers, AP, and Megatron, so they would most likely be the most powerful...

      NFC East: 2-1

      NFC West: 0-3

      AFC East 2-2
      AFC North 3-1
      AFC South 1-1
      AFC West 0-0

AFC West is by far the worst over the past decade. The NFC West has had 3 different teams in the SB but all lost, and remember the Rams won before that. AFC North is clearly the best divison IMO, sitting at 3-1 in the SB with the Ravens 1-0 and Steelers 2-1. The AFC East is ALL PATRIOTS so that hurts them even with 4 appearences. Id say the NFC East is probably the 3rd or 4th best divison in the NFL. The Eagles had a nice run for a while even though they never won a SB but the Skins and Cowboys really hurt the division.
Funny, that's the Giants' record in super bowls over the past 10 years...

That said, super bowls don't really mean anything with how good a team is. We've put up with crap about, well, ALL of our super bowl victories, since each of them had fanbases of either Joe Montana or Tom Brady crying foul about it, about how we were supposed to just lie down and take it...

No it isnt. Giants lost in 2000, 13 years ago. Yeah, I know, it still seems like yesterday Ray Lewis and company beat us down. We do have the 2 wins in the division, but the loss belongs to the Eagles in 2004 vs the Pats.
Life is like a Giants game, you never know what you are going to get.
