  • 88 vs 88 vs 88

It's that time of year again, because I'm bored at work.

Who has the better year and why? Also, who's better overall?

    Hakeem? Dez? or Demaryius?

I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm going to go Dez Bryant for both, because I'm being a homer today and he's the best. Na-na na-boo boo

    I agree, Dez Bryant

    Hakeem 2nd

    Demaryius 3rd.

I can see Wes Welker shifting the attention away from Demaryius, and they still have Decker there too.

    Better overall? Nicks.

Yeah I can see Welker taking away quite a few receptions and yards. I'd be surprised if Thomas ends up with as many yards as he did last year.

Dez - Nicks - Thomas, in terms of quality and 2013 stat-lines.

I doubted Dez until that light flipped on last season. He looked like everything he was promised to be.

In terms of raw athletic ability, Dez > Thomas > Nicks.

In terms of hands and route running, Nicks > Thomas > Dez.

Stat line? Dez > Nicks > Thomas. If Nicks stays healthy.

Dez, Nicks, Thomas. If Nicks gets hurt again, and Thomas puts up a similar stat-line in a healthy year, then Thomas moves to at least #2 with the possibility of jumping over Dez.

any of these 3 could have a huge year.. but I'll say Thomas

Dez has character issues and Nicks has a injury history

I would say Dez has the best hands, but if you look at drop rates he and Nicks are pretty comparable. Thomas has the worst hands of the 3. Also his route running isn't really good at all.

                Route Running: Nicks> Dez> Thomas
                Hands: Nicks/Dez> Thomas

I've got Nicks staying healthy this year, putting up 95 rec 1300 yds 8 tds this year

Of course 3 rec -2 yards and a safety vs Mo' Claiborne.

Yeah me too. Things have changed over the last year. Strange stuff.

It wouldn't even be worth discussing last year.

Well maybe Thomas vs Dez, but Nicks was on a completely different level, especially after that post season he had.

                            D. Thomas is a solid WR but he isn't in our division. There's another well-known No. 88 WR that the Giants and Cowboys might have to be paying attention to twice a season, Pierre Garcon on the Redskins.

hopefully he does, but he hasn't shown an ability to stay on the field consistently as of yet. Until he does he will be always listed behind the wideouts that may not put up gaudy numbers but are there week in and week out and provide stability at the position
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                              # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                              2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                              3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                              4-New York Giants!!!
                              5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!
