even with eli winning in the super bowl, he still isn't considered clutch, but Romo is.....now why is that?
Eli had a real team around himself to play all out. He had several receivers to hit and a defense which scared the bejesus out of us all but when a QB knows a "D" has his back, he can play lights out football.

2013 was probably a much needed wake up call for Eli and the team as a whole. win as a team, lose as a team.

oh so Jerry is responsible for all the late season & playoff/late in game blunders Where romo has had a chance to be a hero and either through a game ending INT or botched a snap. Wow all along I was thinking it was romo who wasn't clutch and all along it was Jerry's fault. This should take a lot pressure off Tony
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

              # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
              2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
              3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
              4-New York Giants!!!
              5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

                      Cousins: 5

Fun fact: While Romo and Eli threw the same amount of interceptions, Eli threw 27 less passes. Because of this, the numbers indicate Eli probably would have thrown 9 ints if he attempted as many passes as Romo.

Lol thats pretty good....of course eli is on that list. However with 27 more passes, i think eli would be at 10 ints....at least

Romo's laughing all the way to the bank. Jerry gave him a pay raise for 1 playoff win. That's the Jerry way.

And as much as I love making fun of Romo, and I do, I'll give him credit for being a good QB. He's just not a clutch QB.
One of these teams is not like the others

The math works out to where Eli would likely have thrown at least one more if he attempted the same number of passes.

Again though, this was just for 4th quarter with 5:00 or less since 2011.

If you add "and close" then yeah, it looks like the graph.

But if you add "and close" Romo also leads number of completions as well. The reason for that is, his team is "close" quite often so he's passing the ball quite a bit.

That said, Eli's late and close interception % is a bit better than Romo's, but not as much as you would think.
