Happy-We won another, SB nuff said
Happy non of the posters on this board are the Giants' GM, HC, DC, or OC
Unhappy it's off-season between SB and FA/Draft time turning everyone into a GM, talent specialits, and Cap Specialists..

I must have missed something in my football education durining the last 60 years of being a Giants fan, I just don't know, and never learned, how to be a GM.
Unhappy with alot of the changes in thje NFL, but at least it's not basketball where the game really changed, no such thing as walking penalties a player can now can take almost as many steps as he wants w?o dribbling to get the electrifying flying illussion to dunk

But I do rememberChuck Connerly, YA, Alex Webster, and that whole crew of the 50's, the Bednarik/Gifford hit, and very early Yale Bowl 60"s, and how terrible the Giants drafts were, starting with Rocky Thompson ah, the memories.

Just to put this into perspective ...

The computer was invented, the Berlin Wall is erected, door to door ice deliveries ended, Sputnik, the original British Invasion, the Apollo program, Viet Nam, the AFL-NFL merger, we landed someone on the Moon, ZOMG The Jets won a SB, the Internet was invented, Tricky **** wasn't a crook but quit anyways, 8-track tapes, the home computer, the death of 8-track tapes, cassette tapes, the Walkman, MS Windows, Giants win SB 21, CDs, the Berlin Wall goes down, the Giants win SB 25, the death of casette tapes, the death of records, the world discovers the Internet, cell phones are no longer carried in Samsonite bags, Giants lose SB 35, 9/11, the iPOD, the iPhone, Giants win SB 42, the world didn't end, Giants win SB 46.
I don't always root for the Cowboys but when I do I wear my pink Jessica Simpson edition Romo jersey. (yes I lost a bet)

...and Burier loses 30 seconds of life
My 5 year old son right before the kickoff of the Super Bowl 46: Dad, are the Giants gonna win?

        Burier: Yes.

My 5 year old son right before the kickoff of Super Bowl 46: Do you promise?

        Burier: Yes. I promise.

I'm guessing that Red Dog and I are about the same age. Unlike RD, I enjoy all the speculation about the draft, free agency, etc., 'cause it helps fills the void between football seasons.

I do agree with Red Dog about NBA basketball. While I enjoy a little college roundball and the NCAA Tournament, I'd just as soon be in Hell with a broken back as have to watch an NBA game.
