that works out to almost 4 TDs a game. It's a miracle they are even .500

Disturbing to say the least......pretty sure Sheridan's bunch were statistically better than Fewell's crew.....so that means....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZd_YyFzPD0&t=0m30s

This makes my stomach hurt. Yes, we played the Pats, Saints and Packers but look at some of the putrid qb's and offenses we've played.

When you throw into the mix the fact that we have only played 4 winning teams this yea, you kinda throw up in your moth a little knowing we gave up that many points to some bad teams.

Also consider that we haven't blown anyone out really so we haven't been in a position to give up points in garbage time like other teams have. Our defense has been in a position to try to make stops almost every drive.

Ouch. What is the most points ever given up by the Giants in a season?

Looked it up. 1966 Giants gave up 501 points. Also a league record. This was the year they lost to the Redskins 72-41.

The 2011 Giants are right on pace, 500 points given up at this same pace.

The 2009 Giants gave up 427 points.

Look, guys, the fact that so many franchise worsts are happening under Coughlin should say something. And this is an 87 year old franchise that absolutely sucked from 1964-1981.

Our defense sucks. Just being real. We have gotten beat by Alex Smith, Rex Grossman, Vince Young, and Charlie Whitehurst. I can undestand losing to Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. The previous 4 mentioned is actually downright pathetic. How does Mr Fewell go to sleep at night realizing that his defense got ***** slapped by a bunch of scrubs?

^ Fewell is probably one or two games away from giving away more points than Bill Sheridan did -- and with 2 or 3 games to go.

You math is a liitle skewed. 315 points in 12 games is 26.25 a game. Multiply 26.25 by 16 and you get 420. Pathetic but not record worthy nor worse than Sheridan.
