GIANTS' JUSTIN TUCK WANTS BRANDON JACOBS BACK WITH DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS

"For the last seven years, tailback Brandon Jacobs was
one of the Giants’ most vocal players, an emotional runner who often spoke his
    mind.

And now that he’s been cut, his teammates are holding out hope that
    he may return next season.

    Justin Tuck said as
much on Tuesday night, suggesting that Jacobs might somehow find himself back in
    a Giants uniform in 2012.

“I hear it’s still a chance that he might end up being back,” Tuck said
before he was honored at the Chabad Center for Jewish Discovery’s Founders
Dinner Gala in Manhattan. “And you cross your fingers about that.”

A Jacobs return seems like a long shot. The Giants cut Jacobs on Friday, a
move that helped them avoid paying a $4.9 million roster bonus. Ever since the
Super Bowl, Jacobs had talked of returning for the right price, and he seemed
open to restructuring his contract, but no deal was reached.

“You understand the business part of this football that we play,” Tuck
    said.

That’s something that wideout Victor Cruz is quickly
learning. The explosive receiver asked for a raise shortly after the Super Bowl,
but he told the Daily News that he and the team have not started negotiating a
    new deal.

“No,” he told the Daily News. “Not yet.”

He added that Jacobs was the “heart and soul” of the Giants, and the team’s
handling of the big back has reminded him about “the business part of this
    game.”

“Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.” MB Rule # 1

[/quote]i would have no problem having him back as long as he is willing to except his Role. He will never be a feature back for NY. For that matter he will never be a feature back for any team and he will soon find that out. If he is willing to come back in and play for what the Giants offered him and be Vocal and maybe if we fix our Oline problems we can see some of the old BJ in next few years before he retires as a NYG.
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

I have a feeling the cut was only to avoid paying his option, and possibly re-sign him at a lower rate. If another team offers him something, best wishes with your new team (unless it's the eagles, of course). Otherwise, he'll be back.

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.
