That would be amazing, I would love for Osi to retire a Giant so we will hold the torch with the best D-Line for a long time. I say stick him with a 5 or 6 year deal he should be done by then ready to retire.

Osi should go. The more he's on the field, the less JPP is on the field. He's a one dimentional player and thats it. Trade him for a 3rd as far as I'm concerned.

Burning up cap space for Osi is a waste of money.

True, I would rather have JPP on the field but you never know with tuck.

And what happens if JPP or Tuck go down? It's called quality depth and that's how you have the best D-line in the NFL.

            9 sacks, 2 FF in 9 games, 7 starts.

MH, do you fail to remember that our defense got much better once all 3 of our DEs were nice and healthy.

If he wants to stay and make a fair contract, then it benefits us greatly to keep him. If he wants too much, then ship him off. We could probably get at least a second, even if he is essentially only a pass rusher.

Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                  # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                  2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                  3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                  4-New York Giants!!!
                  5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Man I just don't see how we can resign him to the type of deal he wants,I mean even at a reduced price. With our cap issues how is it even possible,I don't see Reese giving him a big time deal with a large signing bonus and a small base salary, that's what he's upset about now.I just don't see this playing out any other way besides a trade. Not that I want to see him go but, there's just not enough money from what I can tell. Then Tuck is up after this upcoming year isn't he,plus Cruz want more,Nicks Reese better not let him hit the open market,JPP the same Reese have his work cut out for him.

Maybe while playing during this past season (and winning yet another SB) he's realized that he loves playing here, and money notwithstanding, that NY is the best situation for him as far as long term professional success is concerned.

Like how our nickle back is a starter, our 3rd DE is essentially as starter as well. He's a pass rush specialist of the highest caliber.

Give him a deal similar to John Abraham, who played a similar role on the falcons for the past few years.
All Hail The New York Giants!!

If Osi wants to remain a Giant, and the team can afford him next year, then it is a great situation. Tuck, JPP, and him will make a nasty rotation, and our pass rush set-up will remain the baddest in the league for a very very long time.

I am for trading him if he expresses not wanting to be around, but definitely not if otherwise. Osi is an all-pro level player with great consistency.

The only way that I trade him, is if a team offered us that MLB that we have been looking for... Patrick Willis...
