  • Garrett vs Coughlin

Think about it, this is Garrett's first important/big game as a HC. I think people are under estimating the value of having a coach like TC in a game like this. Coaches make mental mistakes as well. We hear the term "chess game" tossed around. I am very pleased with having Coughlin in our corner during this big chess match. I also give dallas the advantage with their DC. BUT I have a strong feeling Rob ryan will be blitzing plenty. And Eli is NASTY against the blitz. But back to the original statement, I like TC in this chess match.

He must be a better coach then, huh?

FYI - TC beat Belicheck in their last two meetings, so . . . . .

I disagree...I believe TC to be among the top coaches in the league. Garrett hasn't proven anything.

most of the "chess match" will be between the OC's and DC's of the two teams. The clock management will be theHC.

Overall TC is of course the better and more experienced coach but IMO thats not whats going to win this game.

Both are coaching for their jobs

The difference is the players.....its down to which team wants it more.....last year that loss to the cowboys effectively ended our season

Game didn't have no where close to the stakes thats at hand in this game. Cowboys were basically out of it. Like I said in my original post, this is Garrett's big first game.

Big Game, Prime Time, Giants have performed well in Prime Time this year.

Eli will not be rattled, Romo - Not so sure.

Turnovers will be the key - whoever wins that battle wins the game.

It's the NFC East, it will be decided in the last 2 minutes.

Hope Eli has the ball last!

Maybe the biggest game to date, but the spotlight was most certainly on Garrett during the Sunday Night season opener against the Jets and the Monday Night one against the Redskins.

I'm sure that to a coach, when you deal with tens of thousands of fans, and dozens of reporters before and after each game, and the crowd noise is more or less the same, and the adrenaline is more or less the same, that the "bigness" or "smallness" of a game eventually doesn't feel much different after a while.

I disagree about the prime time game. We're 1-2 this year in prime time games, and the two losses were horrendous outings by us.

The NY Giants do not do well Thursday, Sunday, or Monday night.(usually)
They said Brady and the Patriots couldn't be beat, Eli did it twice, how's that for Elite?

Yeah they looked great against New Orleans. I hate when the GIants play prime time.
