JPP was drafted before the new CBA. And even then, it's nothing that's set in stone.

Rookie wage scale went into effect in 2011 draft. It is a new aspect of the recent CBA.

Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

          # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
          2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
          3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
          4-New York Giants!!!
          5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

I don't understand how it relates to the Cap and how we can benefit from it while it not being fair to the other teams

The cap is figured out as a percentage of total revenue (how ever that is figured out, lol). The new TV deal adds a significant amount to the total revenue, which should raise the cap a bit. I had heard though, that they are probably not going to jack the cap up that much after the new deal, instead opting for a more steady growth of the cap.

We can only ignore the elephant in the room for so long but eventually we're going to have to lose one of the 3 huge stars on this team: JPP, Cruz, and Nicks...there is no way we can keep all 3 for too long

Thankfully there is one player not going anywhere and as long as he's here, we're in good hands.
