  • Giants Bring Back Rocky Bernard...

He was a solid DT last year. This D Line can be something very special if they stay healthy.

good rotation guy. But that is a lot of DTs on the roster.

Linval, Canty, Austin, Rogers, Kuhn, and now Bernard.

They arent taking 6 DTs into the season.

I'm thinking Kuhn will be on the practice squad.

The addition of Rocky Bernard makes me
wonder about FA signee Shaun Rogers who has missed most if not all of
the OTAs with an elbow injury.

Not all those DTs are making the 53 man roster somebody will get cut or injured.

That makes alot of sense. Insurance in case Rogers isn't motivated or Austin isn't ready. Highly doubt we take more than 4 DTs' into the season. Only way I can see it happening is if we don't find a suitable 4th DE and Canty becomes the defacto 4th DE.

Surprising news to say the least
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                      4-New York Giants!!!
                      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

I just hope that this signing does not suggest Austin is not far enough along to give the coaches confidence that he can man a spot on the interior. I hope he is healthy and I'm wrong!
