Hes really the first time the giants have had a speed back in decades.

Bradshaw is often thought of as the speed guy because Jacobs was the big back, but Bradshaw really isnt a darty fast runner at all. Hes a shifty power back, he was 220+ pounds. And in the open field he isnt going to outrun that many LBs or DBs.

Scott has the same sort of speed as Wilson, but he only played what, 5 snaps last season?

Tiki too did not really have that pure speed to run past anyone, he was a vision runner, set up his blocks better than most backs can.

I remember when Bradshaw had that long run against Buffalo...He looked a lot faster than he does today. But I agree that it was never like Wilson's speed.

Scott's fast too but I haven't seen the shiftiness that Wilson has. Wilson definitely seems to have the best skill set package of any Giants RB since Tiki...Don't want to crown the guy yet. Have to wait and see how he adjusts to the NFL game.

Wow. Japan and America are tied for titles.

              Who else plays in this.

              This is awful.

well bradshaw at the combine only ran like a 4.55. Jacobs ran the same speed.

Jacobs just didnt have the same short area quickness bradshaw does. (not surprising considering their weight)

There were times when Jacobs seemed to outrun guys too.

I would consider both of them to have rather average speed though.

Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                      4-New York Giants!!!
                      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Maybe this Wilson kid can give us at the RB spot what cruz and Nicks give us at the WR spot. Breakaway speed. Something the gmen have lacked for yrs was YAC and we have that now and after tiki we have had productive Backs but not one that could break it on any play.. I'm excited

Wikipedia[/quote]So it's an every 4 year deal like the Olympics and we have won the last two. Also because the USA is so dominate in football they did not field a team in the first two IFAFs. Their our some steep restrictions on who can play and even with these the USA fielded a team that was able to win in both appearances. Canada also was slightly restricted and their first games came in second to the USA? Just looked it up and it says it's a quadrennial event
