NY GIANTS' TRAINING CAMP DAY 1 PRACTICE REPORT

Excerpt: "The New York Giants first practice of 2012 training camp is in the books. More than anything head coach Tom Coughlin was just glad the team was able to get outdoors at UAlbany and get the practice in following a miserable\, rain-soaked morning.

"We got it in," said Coughlin.

Here are a few firsts from the first workout." Read more...

Glad to hear Thomas' "injury" has nothing to do with his leg

Every year he gets a newer, uglier helmet.

Agree...I'll take ugly helmet all day as long as he keeps progressing.

Hot weather, early in camp, cramps and sore backs are not unusual at all. I think we are all a little gun shy regarding pre-season training given how it has gone for us recently on the injury front.
No one remembers who came in second.

Eli picked up where he left off, same as cruz. Seems like the secondary did well. My only concern is our O-Line.
