  • My Annual Elis QB Stats prediction for 2012 & past predictions included. Whats yours?

I would like to share my annual Elis Stats for 2012. First lets look at my previous two predictions. I have posted my 09 and 11 prediction but for some reason I either did not do 2010 or cannot find it. I will try to find it and if I do I will update this thread. Here is the link for my 2011 prediction and if requested can share my tweet in 09 as I saved it. http://boards.giants.com/showthread....ighlight=stats

I think I did better than the so called professional analysts (feel free to check). I also remember being called a few choice words like Eli Homer , nut, and heard that we can't win if that happens.

    Elis 09 Actual Numbers:
    4,002 passing yards, 27 tds, 16ints, 62.3% comp., 7.9 ave per attempt

    Prediction for Eli in 09:
3,600 passing yards, 26 tds, 15 ints, 61+% comp., 7+ ave. per attempt

    Elis 11 Actual Numbers:
4,933 passing yards, 29 tds, 16 ints, 61% comp., 8.4 ave per attempt, 92.9% QB rating.

    Prediction for Eli in 11:
4,200 passing yards, 34 tds, 13 ints, 64% comp., 7.7 ave per attempt and
95% QB rating. I added in 11 (which I hate)
    • Also there were approximately 5 dropped TDs during the season which would have put him roughly at my TD prediction
ARE YOU READY FOR THE PREDICTION FOR ELI IN 2012?

    Prediction for Eli in 12:
5,261passing yards, 36 tds, 13 ints, 65.7% comp., 8.5 ave per attempt and added QB rating at 101.3%. (which I hate)
    • If the run game improves I can see it at 4,675 passing yards, 32 tds, 11 ints, 66.5% comp., 8.7 ave per attempt and QB rating at 104% ( quick/rough guess)
    Elis 12 Actual Numbers:
TBD passing yards, TBD tds, TBD ints, TBD% comp., TBD ave per attempt, TBD% QB rating.

Curious too see how I do on my 3rd attempt. Should be fun, to at least compare vs the so called pros.

Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

          # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
          2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
          3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
          4-New York Giants!!!
          5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

When I did it last year I was a bit off on yards, but the pros were much worse than I. I remember sending the 09 #s to Ralph V., and he thought i was a bit high back than.

I know you are not lumping me in with others. You know better than that. I shared the link in the post, which you must have skimmed through since you did not check to verify your own claim about what you just did above. I believe a public retraction is merited lmfao.

I didnt have 10 numbers or couldnt find them. I had the 09 & 11 numbers up and linked.

                          ill go:

                          4750 yds, 37 TD, 16 INT, 65% comp

i see him putting up high yardage numbers again because im still not sold on our run game. also, his TDs will be higher without jacobs and the addition of bigger receivers for the red zone like bennett and randle.

                            6000 yds, 50 TD, 1 INT, 89% comp.

                            ...I stand by my prediction.
