Linval being a beast will soften the blow of Canty being on PUP. He's looked amazing this preseason. Rocky, too!

Canty and The Anvil normally play two different roles, but Joseph actually looked very good on third down passing situations.

              +1.

I just wish we had Austin and Canty for some crazy depth.

Well Hendricks and Kuhn have looked good and the new guy from Denver looks decent
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                4-New York Giants!!!
                5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Giants record this season? Predictions everybody?

I see big blue going 10-6. Due to a very difficult schedule it is not going to be easy to make the playoffs this year, but the confidence this team should have without plaxico shooting himself in the leg, we should be very confident and i can see them with NO injuries making the playoffs and possibly going deep.

Week 1: (Wednesday, 9/5): New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys- W
Week 2 9/16: New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- W
Week 3 9/20 (Thursday): New York Giants at Carolina Panthers-W
Week 4 9/30: New York Giants at Philadelphia EagleS- L
Week 5 10/7: New York Giants vs. Cleveland Browns- L
Week 6 10/14: New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers- W
Week 7 10/21: New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins- W
Week 8 10/28: New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys- W
Week 9 11/4: New York Giants vs. Pittsburgh Steelers- W
Week 10 11/11: New York Giants at Cincinnati Bengals-L
Week 12 11/25: New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers-L
Week 13 12/3: New York Giants at Washington Redskins-W
Week 14 12/9: New York Giants vs. New Orleans Saints-W
Week 15 12/16: New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons-L
Week 16 12/23: New York Giants at Baltimore Ravens-L
Week 17 12/30: New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles-W

10-6 FIRST IN THE NFC EAST! I HOPE

What have I been saying? We'll forget all about Canty by week 6 with how this guy plays.

You have us losing to the browns?

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.

he is very impressive, strong, active, constantly penetrating, great motor ... now if he could only adopt a don't taze me celebration ... but having gone there, wow he is like 1/4 the price of Cofield

oh and i hate to be spelling police, but now that Linval is a STAR, we gotta spell him right in the thread title, at least

you wouldn't have seen a Leonord Marshall is a Giant among men post back in the day, well come to think of it, we didn't have a message board in the 80s

Sure, it would be nice, but let's not forget that Justin Tuck can always provide the needed depth at DT, where he started his career and first made a name for himself. As good as Canty has become, both Joseph and Bernard have consistently played well above average. We're defensing the run much better this preseason than we did last year. Our one potential vulnerability is on the outside, off the edges, and that should be greatly strengthened with the return of Williams and Boley.

I want to see him do it over a whole season before I put him in the pro bowl. He's been more or less average in his career so far.
