  • Running game ...keep cam off the field as much as possible..we grind out the T.O.P.

Brown, Wilson and a sprinkling of Scott...making solid gains on the ground ..will help us chew up T.O.P., and keep Cam off the field...Bennet has another high production performance and we can win this one...Close game but I still see us as coming out, despite Nicks & Bradshaw being out.

LB's need to keep Cam from seeing running lanes opened, and force him to challenge us down field...can't let him get happy feet. Got to have faith that DC did his homework on this and we are going in prepared to contain as best we can. Steve Smith isbanged up a bit..so...we can compete ...ALL IN.

    LET'S GO BLUE !!!!

Giants should lose this game, which is why they have a good chance to win it.

They haven't run the ball well since 2010. Hey, maybe they start doing better tonight.

We really need a big assist from the defense. We should expect some early three and outs by the giants offense until they figure out how the panthers are playing us with all our injuries. Defense needs to keep this reasonable in the first half and give Eli and Co a chance in the second half. And as always no turn overs.

No no no no no !

No one wins games by way of ball control anymore (This in not 1986) and the Giants certainly can't control the ball with our weak running game. Score fast and score often is how we win this game. Make the Panthers cover every blade of grass and when Cam comes on the field knock the snot out of him weather he has the ball or not (Option).

If we try to play ball control we lose. Plain and simple.
My 5 year old son right before the kickoff of the Super Bowl 46: Dad, are the Giants gonna win?

              Burier: Yes.

My 5 year old son right before the kickoff of Super Bowl 46: Do you promise?

              Burier: Yes. I promise.

If we had Rodney Hampton & Joe Morris and a better run blocking O-line I would tend to agree with you. I think it will come down to Eli making big plays in the passing game, Bennett will have a big game and the D-line playing to their reputation.

To be honest, it seems like teams are planning more to play time of possession game to take away Eli these days. They know that if he gets the ball with any non-zero amount of time, he can bust out a TD. If he doesn't turn the ball over anyway...

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.

Actually N.E. is a ball control offense by way of the pass instead of the running game. Ravens win with great defense and ball control through the running game. Almost all west coast offenses are ball control offenses via the use of the short and intermediate passing game. Ball control is still a big part of what most coaches do.
Because of all of the effort and examination being poured into these predictions, the draft is a robust market that, in the aggregate, does a good job of sorting prospects from top to bottom.1 Yet despite so many people trying to “beat the market,” no single actor can do it consistently. Abnormal returns are likely due to luck, not skill. But that hasn’t stopped NFL executives from behaving with the confidence of traders.
